I can’t put a lower enough rating on how bad our experience was. We went there Friday night for my son’s rehearsal dinner. From the moment we walked through the door it was disgraceful. They pointed to where we should go instead of walking us. The delay in getting our food was so long that a few people left before entrees! A server was running our party of 35 and taking tables in the front. We were waiting 45 minutes for drinks. The food was horrible!! Frozen chicken patties with sauce thrown over it. Everything tasted frozen or jarred.Call to speak with owner following day and he spoke condescending to me. I have never been talked down to by a professional in that manner. I have been in hospitality industry for 20 years and it was an embarrassment!!

Have gone a few times and was never disappointed. If a restaurant can survive as long as they have that speaks volumes. I need not even say anything more go and see for yourself.

Very classy, kept atmosphere for a dinner. The servers were kind and knew about dietary restrictions. Prices are good, this place really feels comfortable. Owner is a gentleman and deserves the praise. Good stuff. Will come time and time again.

Went for a Sunday night early dinner (4:30pm) with another couple. We were greeted right away by the Owner, very nice, they were just cleaning up from a large private party, but we were made to feel warm right away. The apps were fantastic, mozzarella bread, mini meatballs and octopus My entree of linguini and sausage hit just right Highly recommended and I'll be back

This is a lovely family owned restaurant worthy of this praise. They are conveniently located on Old Country Road in Hicksville at the end of a small strip mall. They also have their owned dedicated parking lot. You enter into a nie medium size restaurant with a wonderful bar area just to sit and relax. Plenty of windows allow ample lighting during the day and the evening light is soft and effective. You feel very comfortable in these settings. We came as part of our Kiwanis club meeting and had our own area with one very long table to seat us all. The staff here is very attentive to detail and paid a lot of attention to our group. They took our orders first so our meeting could begin and they would just bring our food. My meal was simple and tasty.. A nice cold crisp salad to start followed by an order of sole oreganata. The sole was fresh and tasty. A nice size order for dinner but not enough to also finish at home. The meal went very well and was followed by some coffee. This is a comfortable place to come fo a meal and I am happy to recommend it to all. am looking forward to returning and ordering off the menu. KUDOs to the team at Tesoro Ristorante Italiano

Well, it's been 25 years plus since our last visit to Tesoro's. We didn't know what to expect. We were surprisingly very satisfied with the food, staff, Tony (still owner) and interior. If you want the true Italian restaurant experience head over to Tesoro's. You will not be disappointed. Buon appetito!

I went to tesoro for the first time on valentine’s day. My experience was horrible. Food was on the pricier end but i don’t mind paying if food and service is good. Food took close to an hour to arrive. When the food came they gave it to the wrong table by mistake and then brought it back to our table. My lamb chops were way past over cooked when i asked for medium well. The sauce they put on it was disgusting. The lamb had a bad smell. I couldnt finish my last 2 lamb chops because of the smell it had. I asked for pasta on the side and first they forgot to bring it with my entree and then they took my plate away and brought it back saying they’ll bring pasta later. When the pasta came it was over cooked as well. My husband ordered steak and it was also overcooked. They said the steak and lamb chop comes with mixed veges on the side. We did not get any mixed veges. We told them about our entrees being overcooked they said they’d give us desert on the house but they never did. My husband took his card out and put his card on the table and asked for the check instead the waiter took the initiative to take the card from the table without bringing a detailed check. I will never ever go back to this place. I paid $137 for food i was barely able to eat.

Went to Tesoro for the first time for Valentine's Day and it was disappointing to say the least. Food is on the pricier side, which is fine, however, steak was way overcooked when I asked for medium well. My wife's lamb chop was torched and super dry and had no flavor. We complained to the server and he just said sorry and walked away. Never going back!!

This is my Sunday family dinner restaurant. The food is good and the service is very friendly and professional. Haven't tried the bar area but it always looks great. Be back soon.
