I always come here to eat when I am in White Plains. However they are about to lose my business. I was here in March and again today. I asked to be seated in the bar area. Both times I saw a dog, sitting on the bench where people sit. Both times I spoke to a manager and I was informed the customer has a service dog. I totally understand and accept that. However the dog should not be sitting on the bench where customers sit. What am I missing here ? I have spoken to two managers.

Very good, best diner in Westchester.Parking: You can park in the lot, though at busy times you may need to park on Central Ave. or any side stree5 in the area.Kid-friendliness: Good for kids. Have a decent kids menu.

Eating at City Limit Diner in White Plains, NY, can feel like you're in a foodie version of a sitcom where the jokes just don’t land. On my visit on 4/19, the City Limit Steak sandwich was the punchline—lukewarm, sugary, and more disappointing than a rainout at a Yankees v. Red Sox game. The fries were so average they could’ve been mistaken for generic fast food. Luckily, the Juice Bomb IPA from Sloop Brewing Co. was there to lift the spirits, a shining star of hoppy goodness in a sea of mediocrity. The staff were great, really trying to make the best of the script they’ve been handed, but even they can’t justify the high prices for such standard diner fare. My advice? If you’re really craving diner delights, you might want to zip across to Connecticut—you’ll get more bang for your buck and probably better fries too!

Haven't been back to this place for a long time and things are nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Actually it was way better than expected. Place was packed on a Sunday at 1pm and we were a party of 10. They accommodated us within 15 min. They also got a party of 7 sat while we were waiting so they are great with that aspect. We sat and got all kinds of drinks including sodas for the kids that was almost never empty. Refilled my oldest Son every time he was empty. Took our large order and got every aspect correct which is great in this day and age of hard to find good staff. Food was all around good. Burgers were large, pancakes huge, they put a ton of scrambled eggs on the plate requiring them. My sister and bro-in laws salads were plentiful and they loved them. My GF got the crab and lobster cake Benedict which she loved. I got the breakfast burrito which was good and the homemade hash was tastey too. The 3 breads the put on the table to start were amazing and the desserts were real good too. Forgot to take pics of the food as it was my mother's bday so I was occupied. One negative is they have a large lot but it was full so 2 of the 4 cars we came in had to park in the street.Parking: Big lot but at busy times will easily fill up.

The food was very very good. The service was good. The place was packed and food came out relatively quickly. Food was tasty. Had a Belgian waffle and it was large and hot with fresh tasty fruit. Staff was friendly. One of the best if not the best diner in the area. It's always busy cause the food is good. Some diners have a lot of stuff but it's not all worth eating. This place isn't like that. Would recommend and would go again.

We have been coming to City Limits since it opened in the mid 1990’s. We have always loved this place. The food is so consistent and we have become family with the staff which has been here for so long.
