Great local community gathering spot for tea, coffee and a variety of unique beverages. Love the specialty teas! Friendly and attentive staff. Tea sampling was educational and fun. Learned about and tasted oolong, jasmine and black teas. Joan is an engaged owner and excellent resource for the health benefits of the teas sold in the store. Support local tea and coffee businesses and you support the local economy. Must go!

This is such a great small coffee shop. Truly a gem in White Plains! Small space but cozy with a surprising amount of seating. Decor is modern but I found it also charming. The atmosphere is great and the coffee was wonderful (love the Lavender Latte). A great place to meet up with a friend or sit for some work. I have had several delicious coffees and some cookies/cakes.Parking: Paid street parking (a couple spots out front and more down a side road next to the building). There are some paid parking garages a short walk away.Wheelchair accessibility: You can access the shop from the main door on the sidewalk but seating might need to be adjusted for the visitor. Door is not opened by an electric button.

I could have made a better cappuccino with a Keurig. And for $6? It’s cheaper in Manhattan.

Cute cafe, the matcha was amazing! Only con I can think of at the moment was that the same Adele song played over…and over…and over, which became annoying quickly.

It's been a few years since I lived in NY, but an iced dirty chai with lavender from Hastings remains one of the best drinks I've had to date. Grabbing an iced matcha then taking the train to explore towns along the Metronorth, getting coffee with my parents on one of their last visits before I moved to CA, stopping for a drink while walking my dog around the neighborhood...I have lots of fond memories here. If you live in the Westchester area or are just passing through, definitely stop by!

Adorable and cozy neighborhood coffee shop in the heart of White Plains. Lots of seating, friendly and quick service, and free wifi. I also appreciated the menu had plenty of creative non-coffee options like London Fog, Turmeric Chai, matcha. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a coffee or tea break in the area.

Stopped by after dinner. Great selection of teas, and they can make a London Fog w lavender. Playlist while I waited was 70s-80s disco -- huge plus! BeeGees! Sylvester!

Nostalgia; came in here on my first day working a real job after college. It's very conveniently located, right in the heart of downtown White Plains. There is a decent amount of seating, and apparently a lot of tea/coffee options... save for the decaf coffee I tried to order! No decaf coffee? Why not? The spicy mint herbal tea I ordered was good, but cost $4.50. As I sat there drinking it, I imagined what an entire box of herbal tea costs at ShopRite... $1.50 maybe? Anyways, places like this are a dying breed. Visit Hastings Tea while you still can.
