Today my partner and I decided to try Red Horse out of curiosity. At first, honestly we weren’t expecting it to be as great as it was. Our waitress, Kaileen, was very informative, friendly, and such a sweetheart. She recommended us to try the Octopus and Chorizo Kabobs which were to die for. The octopus was very tender and the chorizo had a nice smoky taste to it. For our mains, I had the Branzino Roast and my partner got a NY Strip. Both which were very good. For our sides, we got the whipped potatoes, spinach and mushrooms, and the Brussels sprout. Kaileen highly recommended for us to try the Brussels sprouts which were so delicious and we had to agree with her when she said/asked “how can it be possible for a vegetable to taste this good?”. The service was amazing and I would recommend Red Horse as a place you must go and try if you’re ever in the White Plains area. Sadly, we opted out of dessert but they have a great selection when it comes to satisfying your sweet tooth.

Dietary restrictions: We had two members of our party with severe dietary restrictions and our waitress Kaileen was wonderful, checked with the chef on everything and made sure we were accommodated. Excellent service here.

We came for restaurant week and had an appetizer of lobster dumplings and a Caesar salad, entrees of salmon and rigatoni bolognese, dessert of crème brûlée and key lime pie. The ambiance was very good but for the restaurant while clean not being spotless. The food in the overall was very good, but the only true standout was a perfectly prepared, presented and seasoned salmon. Given the restaurant’s price point/class and that it is a “David Burke” restaurant, I feel they could, and should, step up the flavor profiles of its food product.

Visited during restaurant week and the food was delicious, the vibe amazing and fun was had by all!Vegetarian options: my daughter is a vegetarian and while the menu did not reflect a lot of options they were willing to do just about anything to make her happy. Excellent customer service delicious food. Don’t hesitate to come if you’re a vegetarian.
