We ordered takeout via grubhub tonight & the food was absolutely vile. We got a focaccia sandwich to share & a caesar salad. The cheese on the sandwich tasted like it had gone bad DAYS ago,the tomatoes were pale & the dressing on the salad was so unbelievably fishy that we couldn't even eat it. Such a waste of our money. Never ever ordering from here again. These good reviews are definitely fake, the food is disgusting. Don't waste your time.

The man I spoke to when I called the order in and picked it up was friendly, but that was the only positive aspect of my experience there. I had ordered 2 orders of seafood angel hair and 1 order of shrimp scampi over linguini. We got the three orders to go. For Christmas Eve, we were looking to order seafood pasta from an Italian restaurant so we wouldn’t have to prepare the seafood and pasta ourselves. We had another place in mind, but since they were already overbooked for Christmas Eve, they weren’t taking anymore reservations or orders for take-out. This is why we decided to order from this place. $96.00 for 3 people didn’t seem too bad, but it wasn’t worth it for the quality of food we recieved. The scampi lacked garlic and it was pretty bland. Scampi is supposed to be garlicky and buttery, but this was mediocre at best. I had a problem with the seafood angel hair as well. I requested seafood angel hair with red sauce a fradiavolo and it didn’t taste like fradiavolo and the sauce was different from what pasta with seafood in red sauce fradiavolo usually tastes like and the worst part was that there was very little seafood in there. When we get seafood pasta from the other place that was overbooked for Christmas Eve, they give much more seafood with the pasta for the same price as what I paid at Liola. I only recieved about 4 muscles and a couple of shrimp. I am very disappointed in the food.

Dined here with a large party. Everyone was so disappointed with the food, I can’t even say it was mediocre. The male waiter who was younger looking, tall with black hair working on Saturday, 12/16/2023 gave TERRIBLE service. It would be a euphemism to even call it “service.” He did not check on us once, not even one time!!!!! Not once in the 3+ hours we were there did he see or ask if anyone needed refills or water. And we would ask, he would blatantly ignore us or say okay and never come back with it. He would pretend like we didn’t exist. It was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had a restaurant. I cannot believe how rude, arrogant, and inattentive the server was. Go literally anywhere else. McDonald’s has better service than this place.

I was unfortunately disappointed when ordering take out from here. The salad as you can see was extremely bland & just did not taste good. Asked for the pizza well done and it def did not match. Also the ricotta tasted cold. The pasta was decent - not bad , not out of this world. I had high expectations due to ratings and the ambience of the spot was very nice but the food did not meet standards. Also not necessarily affordable so def disappointed. Maybe it was take our experience but really shouldn’t be much of a difference.

Food and service was amazing. The sauce on the chicken Parm was insanely tasty, al dente. And the margherita pizza was on point. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.Seating seemed limited, we were sent to the bar before a table opened up, so maybe making a reservation might help. The place is intimate and nicely decorated, though their population can get loud after some glasses of wine.

overpriced, skimp food no flavor. not wo the price. we ordered take out Christmas Eve. food was in plastic Chinese food sized containers. shrimp scampi had no garlic no flavor. would've been better to order from Gino's or Chinese takeout.

Placed an order through DoorDash for gnocchi and pizza. Their gnocchi was fresh and simply divine. Creamy, cheesy, and very flavorful. Would've liked some fresh herbs in it but besides that it was amazing. Would love to dine in and try their other pasta dishes next time.

Excellent traditional Italian fare. The food is delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. Liola is a hidden gem- I think if it weren't for the unfortunate parking situation, it would be a lot more popular. Service is quite good, and Christian especially is a great waiter! Definitely visit this wonderful yet underrated Italian restaurant!
