It's dystopia not utopia... Unfortunately never got to try my destroyed bagels ordered from here. My $59 dollar order consisted of 13 fertilised bagels crushed and sitting in the back of 100° FedEx van for a day or two. Would not waste my time with their service department nobody cares contacted gold belly good luck with that.. watched a really cool video about them on YouTube about the owner but did not experience everything he said that they can compare themselves to. Definitely would not return or purchase again.

Best bagel ever. If you are visiting NYC and you love bagel then you should try Utopia bagel. The only thing that I don't like about Utopia is the big line. They should develop the process to minimize the wasted time.

Wonderful bagels, we enjoyed with the family some incredible bagels with salmon, onion, the delicious sauce and avocado, phew definitely exceeded our expectations, we discovered it recently and we loved it, very good service.Vegetarian options: Salads and bagels
Shout out to the staff for amazing attention to detail. Top marks to the legendary staff of Utopia Bagels, many of whom have been working there for decades. Recently placed a very early morning order, online, for bagels and lox. On Uber eats scheduled pickup for 6:30-7am but ended up getting there closer to 7:30. Of course these guys get online orders done at light speed, so no doubt this was handled first thing after opening. When I got there at 7:30 my order wasn't ready and for a second I was perplexed until I realized - and then it was confirmed - you can't leave lox in a bag with warm bagels sitting there for an hour (duh). The staff had kept my lox aside, under refrigeration, until I arrived and assembled my order a la minute. I left with beautiful hot bagels and cold lox. Nice!! Anyone who has been there knows how busy this place is on the weekends. For them to pay this small/huge amount of attention to the quality of my order is why I will always love them no matter how famous they get. THANK YOU!!!

Best Bagel in the city, I didn't believe the hype but got a bakers dozen, lox, and more to bring for family visit...I bring bagels all the time from different hot spots....everyone freaked out and said these were the best ever, after living in nyc for 12 years, finally went out there, worth it, will be getting them from here and just freezing them from now on, way worth it!

This place is absolutely repulsive!!! They leave meats and cheeses on the floor of their refrigerator and and use prepped food way past its shelf life! And the pizzeria has 5 inch rats that they cannot get rid of ! The coolers reach over 55 degrees where the pizza will toppings are stored for days no containers are ever cleaned they just keep adding to the old stuff! And too top it off there’s a gentleman in there covered with scabs that I watched sit and pick at them then dig in the cheeses and toppings for the pizza repulsive

Crowded even on weekday mornings, but diners should know that this is a discriminatory food establishment. One of the staff came out to stare at my aunt and I as though we were thieves wanting to steal something while in line. Definitely not Asian-friendly and an absolute bummer as my last meal in the US before flying off. Even family who’ve stayed in NY for over 30 years have said this is one of the worst services they’ve received.
Great bagel. I must get the large pizza bagel one day for a party

Absolutely amazing! Born in New York and these are one of the best I ever had. Got to be on top of list. Their eggs and cheese with hash brown and they got turkey bacon is like crack. I get two because the line is long and the first time I had it I devoured it in 2 minutes. Waited like 40 minutes, on a Sunday at 10:30 but they got so many workers. If you’re in a rush I would order through Uber eats. It might be a little more expensive but won’t have to wait in line. They also but a ridiculous amount of cream cheese on a bagel I have to remind to put light next time. It’s enough for like three bagels. I like cream cheese but not how much they put, had to wipe almost 75 percent off with the paper.
