Awesome spot for lunch! We got the beef on a weck and creamy cucumber salad. I also got the loganberry pop. Everything was fantastic. Homemade and delicous. And you have to love a restaurant that has a bowl of horseradish waiting for you :) The workers were very friendly and the vibe was, too.

Don’t let the gas station fool you. CtB express has a stand alone counter with a super friendly server (Katelyn) and really good food. The meal was an exceptional value…a bit salty with mild horseradish but overall a great spot!

Its was our last night in town and haven't had any beef on weck yet and Charlie the Butcher's was recommended. So we stopped in to get a couple sandwiches to go. I wasn't disappointed with the healthy portion of beef and the roll was just right. Was it the best I evr had? No. Was it worth the stop? It sure was. If you are around the airport and craving a beef on weck, I would highly recommend Charlie the Butcher's.

We stopped at this local establishment after visiting Niagara Falls and before we headed to the Buffalo Airport, just a mile away. It was on the recommendation of a family friend from the area. One of the best recommendations we've had! My spouse had the Beef on Weck - the specialty sandwich. It's a slow roasted beef on a 'kummelweck' bun. They carved the beef as we placed our order. Outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the homemade split pea soup (soup of the day). There were several other items on the menu we'd love to try. Prices were reasonable and service is quick! A wonderful, casual, local place to eat! Next time we're in the Niagara Falls area, we're definitely going back to Charlie's!

This is my husband’s favourite place to eat when we visit Buffalo. We hadn’t been for a couple of years due to the closed border. We always get the beef on weck and are never disappointed. My husband even got one to take back to the hotel to eat later.

The best roast beef sandwiches by far. Potato salad and hot dogs were great. Amazing flavorful shakes.

The line moves fast and is efficient. Service is friendly. There are only a few tables available for sitting though turnover was pretty quick. Still, you may want to go when it’s nice out and sit at the tables outside. Place is known for its beef on weck and didn’t disappoint. Also the inside smells like freshly baked pie, probably because they’re also selling fresh pies.
I of course ordered the beef-on-weck as well as a few tenderloin sandwiches. They were delicious as always! The meal was rounded out with onion rings, birch beer and their homemade brownie. It was the first time I had the brownie - really moist and delicious. The onion rings hit the spot as always.
