My favorite place to eat in Buffalo! Great turkey sandwiches and roast beef. German potato salad and bread pudding are a must! Everything here is delicious!

We are so glad we found this place. If you have never had a beer in weck (or like us, hadn't even heard of them) this place is a must for a quintessential Buffalo meal! We felt really lucky that our first was on prime rib day (Thursday). Their fries were delicious. Loved the open kitchen concept. Definitely felt like we found a local gem!

I had forgotten about Charlie the Butcher & it showed up on my yelp page & I had to take another look at them again. I'm so glad I did, have ordered 4 times for p/u orders. I love the Thursday Prime Rub, I get the sandwich but ask for bread to be separated & prime rib be put in separate container. The reason is I eat it later & don't want soggy bread, you also get a'jour sauce on side that way you can heat it up later if too rare. I would recommend Charlie the Butcher on Cayuga to anyone, great service & awesome food.

Went in mid COVID. Sad to see it like that. Still great, just felt post apocalyptic. That's not on them. The wait was zero, the prices reasonable, the food, unfortunately, made us go again the next day... wait, that's a good thing. Go early, get you some. Order online, send you some. I need to go back now that they cancelled the apocalypse. Right before the next one.

Such a great Buffalo staple. The roast beef is always delicious, savory and fresh. I order often for our group events. Their pre-made platters and their catering package are both reasonably priced and come with a lot of food. Great for parties
