Cannot put 0 stars or else I would. Place is an absolute scam. Single drinks are served with 1oz of alcohol when it’s supposed to be 2oz. A double whiskey on the rocks should be 4oz and they serve 2oz. Absolute rip off of a bar. Price gouging on drinks massively… Disgrace to the buffalo bar community. Overweight blue haired bartender is very rude as well

Just attended the Sloop Brewing event Wednesday night. Great job with the pairings; you can tell there was a lot of attention to detail. My favorite part, however, was the Chicken Sandwich main course. We thought the same of the French Dip at the Hartman event as well. Huge props to the kitchen staff at Rationales; they deserve major recognition. Can’t wait to go back for another event!

One of Williamsville’s newest restaurants is a huge hit! Absolutely love the atmosphere, the food is amazing, and a variety of options in the libations department! Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Meaghan was our bartender and she was amazing. Made us feel warm and welcome our entire visit. Highly recommend!

every review of this place is about the beer. you can get beer anywhere ladies and gentleman. it’s not unique to rationales. my food experience with my family was awful. grilled cheese was burnt, beef on weck was cold. absolutely disgusting.

Crowded narrow bar area with no room to access the bartenders for service and hard for a larger group to enjoy the evening. The place has a large outdoor area with patios on 2 levels which will be nice in warmer weather. Will definitely need to visit in summer. No onsite parking. We did not have any food as this was an evening visit to hear the live music, which we enjoyed.
Nice place but bring a Parka the owner doesn't believe in Heat. Great selection of Beer. Didn't try food yet, next definitely, but menu look good.

Amanda was amazing tonight! We came in with a group of five to celebrate a birthday and cousin coming into town and she made us feel right at home! She’s so sweet and welcoming and we would recommend Rationales to anyone visiting the Williamsville area!

Went to the Hartmans Distillery pairing dinner at Rationales! It was excellent across the board. The food was outstanding, the service staff was at the top of their game and the spirits from Hartman’s were paired perfectly. Can’t say enough about the quality! If you haven’t been, give it a try!
