The pan fired noodles tasted as if they were cooked in burnt oil. The cookware was obviously not cleaned. I've ordered from the before, and this isn't usually the caseThe reason I'm giving th low review is because I called them I I couldn't convey this simple issue. Service, therefore is an issue.

Decent place to get some Chinese food. The scallion pancake was different from what I had. It’s not a puff pastry, more like a pancake rolled up. The Shanghai shu mai could have more mushroom in the filling. Other dishes are good. Probably will come back to try the soup dumplings.

Compelled to leave a five star review. Usually a last resort if didn't want to go to Queens and always did take out but was usually disappointed by the portion size and was still hungry after spending $$. This time around, immediately noticed more food in bigger containers. They made it less salty as requested through their online ordering. Hopefully this is the norm now. Delicious and worth it
Great little dumpling spot. Small no frills place, friendly staff and quick service and SUPER cheap. There were 9 of us and the bill came out to $210 and we all left stuffed. Amazing soup dumplings and buns. Loved the garlic broccoli too. We also got the scallion pancakes. Our server was running around serving all the tables and didnt miss a beat! Would definitely return.

My go-to place for authentic and delicious Shanghainese/Chinese food. You're getting quality made-to-order food here for an unbeatable price. The pork soup dumplings are to die for, as is the Peking duck and broccoli with garlic sauce. In fact, I haven't tried anything from here that I haven't liked! I've taken both friends and family here, and they haven't ordered from or went to another Chinese place since! I also want to point out their customer service. The workers here are extremely attentive, to the point where they actually have my order memorized! Everything comes out quickly and piping hot! Do yourself a favor and get on the Blue Wave!

The xiao long bao is really good the soup is delicious also the sungin bao/fried pork buns are so good there’s a little soup in it and it’s the best I am coming back!

Friends recommended we try Blue Wave We started off with the pork soup dumplings, which are excellent. We also had the scallion pancakes with beef, which we really enjoyed . Ordered the crispy Duck and we ended up sending it back. Didn't enjoy that one. Our bad since we should have ordered the peeking duck ,which unfortunately they had been out of. Ordered the fat noodles with chicken instead, which was good. I would return just for the soup dumplings and the scallion pancakes with beef.
