WARNING: Please confirm the status of the kitchen if you are coming here for more than just drinks!!! Other than that: it's a nice pub, with multiple TV's showing sports at the bar, and a side area with tables. We were drawn here by the menu that pops up on Google - however that is not offered, and they had a special St Patty's day selection of sandwiches and appetizers. A bit disappointed, we nevertheless ordered and our meal was delicious. My Reuben was delicious and everyone else liked their food. The server/bartender was very friendly and attentive. Great local joint!

Good sports bar.

I miss molly Downs. Finegans never has food. Serves beer in styrofoam cups and got rid of the dart boards. Good TV and nice bartender but the place needs to bring back trivia and take down the old holiday decorations

We walked in off the street on a Friday night around 6 o'clock and found a sports bar with lots of TVs and a small dimly lit restaurant area. I had seen this place in yelp several times but never stopped in before. I did remember I got lots of really good reviews so we decided to try something new. It was definitely no frills but the food is the attraction here. We were greeted by the owner, chef AJ, who bought the place last month. All the reviews were a year old so I said to my wife "uh-oh". It turns out the only thing on the menu was chicken and ribs, we ordered two combo plates. The chicken was delicately fried and a dry rub style crust so it wasn't breaded - just seasoned. It was perfectly cooked and tasted terrific. Even the breast meat was cooked thoroughly but juicy and tender. But I'll leave the best part for last. The ribs are to die for!! They are bite-thru tender and juicy and the bbq sauce out of this world. It's sweet yet tangy with a little bit of spice that makes you wanna pu your lips when eating and lick your fingers every time cause you don't want to miss a drop. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the decor was pretty depressing. They need to bring in a little bit more lighting and a few more tables, But as long as Chef AJ is cooking I'll be back!!

We used to be regulars when it was Molly Downs, always a good time. While the food at now Finnegans Pub is certainly better, the all around bar experience is certaintly far far worse than it ever was. This place has just become a cesspool. If you're going thinking this is the same small town bar it used to be, just stay home. It's not worth your time or money; which is all the owners care about ?

Ordered over the phone for curbside pick up. 55 minutes later, four phone calls after and waiting 20 minutes outside finally went inside to get my order. Grilled cheese was cold and soggy, waiting for the pulled pork and Mac cheese which had no flavor at all and very little pulled pork.

Nice and friendly bar

The caveat with this review is that we did not eat and certainly came in late. I was a frequent visitor when this was Molly Down's - which was clearly this bar's golden age. Visiting from out of town for a wedding, we decided to visit and were deeply disappointed. To start, there are still St. Pat's paintings on the windows. There are broken and decrepit blinds which apparently have been used to hide their egregious ignoring of pandemic rules - it was not a good look. We absolutely stuck the floor - and this isn't any sort of exaggeration either. In lighter news, we saw them mopping before we left. The bartender was less than friendly - a far cry from when people like Katie and Bryan were behind the bar. Our drinks were fine. They called last call without telling us, which I guess is fine, but I guess everyone else in the bar got that privilege- goes along with that lack of friendliness i mentioned. In case this review wasn't extensive enough - the interior was tired and not in the cute dive bar way. This used to be a well decorated bar, but it was done up in party city Tiki goods in a permanent way (stapled to the wall). Overall, total disappointment. Glad I don't live here anymore and need a local, close haunt. I hope they clean this place up.

After being a loyal customer here for years, I have decided that I no longer will be giving this sad excuse for a bar my business due to their sexist staff and mistreatment of women. While I was here the other day enjoying a few drinks, my friend was approached by an older man who refused to tell us his age, relentlessly would not stop bothering her, and offering her drinks. After politely declining his offers, he became frustrated and even more angry. My friend's brother approached him and politely asked him to leave us alone. There was absolutely no issue with this confrontation, until the bouncer decided to get involved, completely blowing up the situation. The bouncer then grabbed a wooden bar chair, and SLAMMED IT into the floor and screamed "Everyone out of my bar!" This overly dramatic and violent reaction is not how this situation should have been dealt with. The bouncer was clearly on a power trip. My friend tried explaining to the bouncer that he should be looking out for our safety and best interest, but instead he decided he didn't care to help us. My friends and I were kicked out of the bar, alongside the predator. This disgusting bar is sexist and does not care for keeping their customers feeling welcomed. I have enjoyed this bar for a long time and I am saddened that it has become a scummy and creepy bar. Also, their regulations dealing with COVID are absolutely despicable. For the past year, this bar has let people roam free without masks, packing the room with customers, and closing the blinds so no one from the outside can see. If you want to catch COVID and get hit on by creepy men, go to Finnegan's!
