Food was fantastic! Good price and the waiters and so kind and respectful, the wait time is a bit long though but that shouldn’t be an issue because of how good the food is. If you have time I recommend coming

GREAT KOREAN FOOD AND SUSHI ??This place is great for Korean food and sushi, all for a decent price between $10-15 per dish. My friend and I got a 3 sushi roll combo, tteokboki, and Korean fried chicken. They were all so good! There’s a huge parking lot with stores around such as Kung Fu Tea and Hmart. The waiters were attentive and the atmosphere and comfy and quiet!

We were in NY last week and came across this gem of a restaurant located next to H Mart in New Hyde park, NY. Samurai Sushi restaurant has a nice selection of Japanese and Korean food. We ordered edamame, sushi sashimi and Korean style short ribs (so tender and delicious). Very homely and comfortable atmosphere. I must say, I was absolutely impressed by the quality of the food, not to mention the great service! The staff was very attentive, with a positive attitude. I must say it was a spectacular experience and I am definitely going back if I am in that area!! Giving this restaurant 5/5

Came on a Saturday night and there were maybe 2 other tables which should've been our indication of the food. The service was great, servers were very attentive and always checking in to see if we needed anything. The menu was limited with a lot of the items crossed out. The restaurant was pretty dated, it can definitely use some updates and their booth seats were pealing at certain spots. The food was average at best. We ordered ttoekbokki, budae jjigae, seafood pancake, hot stone bibimbap and a handroll. The ttoekbokki was not good. When it came, the sauce was so thin that it didn't stick to the rice cakes at all. It was only near the end when the whole dish cooled down, was the sauce sticking to the rice cakes. The flavor was just overly spicy. The budae jjigae, I understand that it was made with hot dogs but that's all you can taste. There was hardly anything else besides hot dogs in the soup. Seafood pancake was actually really good, just the right amount of seafood and scallions. The hot stone bibimbap was standard. It had all the regular fixings but I wish they didn't fry the egg through, it should've been left runny. The salmon handroll was just okay, not the freshest but not the worst

Wow, it was actually worst the second time. The dukbukki was bland and small, the bulgogi over rice had very finely chopped up meat instead of large chunks and the fried chicken had barely any meat on it. I would really avoid at all costs.
