Sangria 71 is a nice Spanish restaurant with a nice selection of different dishes, with some good dishes, but nothing insanely crazy.

Considering there was a whole section of the menu on paella, I expected the paella to be better. It had a beautiful presentation, but some of the seafood lacked flavor and seasoning. The paella did not have the crispy rice layer on the bottom called socarrat. Also, there was some liquid that was not fully cooked out of the rice. For price of the paella, I expected better.

Come here with my family and it never fails to disappoint. We have been coming here for a bit and everything is pretty good. The servers are pretty nice and hard working and the ambiance of the place is pretty wide. Can't wait to come here again for the food and drinks. Come together with some friends and family and try it as well.

Sangria 71....I'm giving this place ??I've never had paella in my life but always wanted to try it. Today was that day. The picture doesn't do it justice. I had Pasta Paella for one & I took 2/3 home! It had clams, muscles, shrimp & scallops and it was delicious. My son had the Paella Valenciana~ it had chicken, shrimp, muscles, chorizo, scallops and clams. My husband had the Seafood stuffed shrimp with rice. We also ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. The White Sangria was excellent too! The prices and service were exceptional! We will definitely be back!

Paella de Carne a favorite of mine since I'm not partial to seafood. Comes in a BIG portion. Try the fresh potato chips and anything with Ajillo

Wednesday, February 21, 2024, party of 3 for a retirement dinner. We were sat in a very dim lit table near the restrooms and when we asked to be seated in the brighter dining room a staff person behind me snapped and said " IF YOU GO THERE YOU DON'T GET THE SAME MENU " So, we sat at the dimly lit table 2 of us ordered the pre fixe while the celebrant ordered of the regular menu. The lady ordered a Cosmoplitan and a pitcher of Red Sangria. After dinner 2 Long Island Ice Teas were ordered. All of the drinks were just okay. Appetizers: Octopus Calamari Spanish Chorizo Side Salad Entrees: PAELLA with chicken, chorizo, and mixed seafood. Veal Dish with Stringbean. Chicken Dish with rice Desserts: Churros Coconut Tres Leches The desserts were the best things all evening. Food was plated nicely but, was not Hot which probably changed the taste of the food. Service was decent and the place was very clean. We usually come for the Paella outside when they have the street fair which is amazing.

The space is nice and the service is quite good as well, but unfortunately the food is mediocre. Maybe the mistake is going on a busy holiday evening and the kitchen couldn't handle the rush. The appetizes lacked flavor and were just not very authentic. We waited over 20 minutes in between appetizers and main course.... Everyone around us was waiting too, so maybe there was some issue, not sure. The disappointing part is once we finally received our paella it was not up to expectations - it was watery, undercooked and the seafood lacked flavor. Overall pretty bland food. Ah, and they also add automatic 20% tip even if it's just 2 people eating...
