“Very nice, very small and very friendly breakfast nook. About 7 tables, no bar sitting. More large tables as set than small with easy customization. I've been here twice in 6 months as I don't live close. First, there were 2 kids in a booth while mom worked. They were well behaved and even fun to watch. No kids this time... Staff is welcoming & friendly and this is a perfect setting for a small town breakfast/ lunch place.“
“We are from AZ and this was such a quaint diner! We loved it. We came early morning for breakfast in October. The waitress was friendly and kind. The atmosphere sitting by the window with the stream flowing by was beautiful! I will remember this diner with fond memories!“
“I have not been in the town of Susquehanna in over 50 years. I made friends with an individual that resided there. Who has since pasted on, we met while both attending a trade school during the early 1970's. I had a few fun weekends with his friends and family there. This town is a quaint place, I'm guessing it was like so many towns in north eastern Pennsylvania. A coal mining town that thrived during the day's when coal was king. The Little Ireland Brewing Co. came up while looking for a restaurant to get something to eat and a beverage. This is a great little place for just such a stop. Prices are reasonable and it's an on-site micro brewery. So if your looking for a quaint restaurant bar, with a caffee layout, highly recommend you check it out. Also this town has a beautiful railroad train station that is serious need of being restored, and put to use. Jim Thorpe is a perfect example of what to do with a train station and town like this place.“
“Traveling through states but stopped for food at Jumbo’s No 1. Great customer service, clean bathrooms, inside bar/restaurant area. The pig pen burger , fajita wrap , chili cheese fries was delicious and plenty to eat! A big thank you to our kind and welcoming server Michelle!“
“We've been wanting to stop at Iron Tracks ( love the new name!) but were never in the area until today. We tried 4 different pints and all were excellent. The food was very good, reasonably priced and Justin was super knowledgeable about the beer, the food and the area! Great conversation about lots of stuff, even about pool! ?“
“We didn't know the food service was inside a gas station when we picked it (we are from out of town), The workers were friendly. Both my friend and I got lamb gyros, which came with chips. The workers suggested we slowly peel back the wrapping like a banana to avoid getting the liquid on us. It worked!“
“Randomly found myself in the Hornets Nest on my way to the Catskills. I had my doubts about this dive bar but the friendly service and pizza won me over. The pizza was surprisingly good. It was a pan style pizza and was loaded with cheese and pepperoni. The service was great. Very friendly bartenders/servers that were accommodating and seemed to be running both the kitchen and bar. Place was packed with regulars. Worth a visit!“
“The reviews I've seen posted on Yelp are from people that personally don't like the owners for one reason or another. The food here is great. The service has always been great. Its very clean and the ambiance is nice. The prices are below average for good portions. The place looks remodeled and they just added on a new deck with a roof. I would definitely recommend anyone knew to go give it a try.“
“Want to say a big thank you. I've been sick and my throat is very tight. I started choking on my breakfast and everyone was amazing. A big thank you to the man who saved my life and an sweet lady who insisted on paying for my breakfast. Sorry i didn't get your names, hopefully this gets to you. Thank you and bless you all. And the staff was quick to get me help and make sure I was ok.“
“watching the world go by on chapel street sitting outside on a busy weekend evening, service good, menu not extensive but the food was good, not a bad selection of beers, could have been better on the wines but overall an enjoyable experience.“
