“Not a bad place to grab a sandwich... For years, heard rave reviews and finally found my way in that neck of the woods. Parking is ample - available on either side of the deli itself, making it convenient especially when crowded. Great selection and easy to read menu - and they will make the sandwiches your way, so don't be shy. While I waited for my several sandwiches, it gave me ample time to people watch. I noticed staff were friendly with the regular customers but a bit aloof to newcomers (including myself). Were the sandwiches good; they were. But were they great? Based on all I have heard in the past, they were. For the price point (and the customer interaction), I was expecting more.“

“I saw the signs on the outside of the building that advertised to the public that they are welcome to come in and dine. Upon entering the building, there's a small display of boots and a rack for the menu. I followed the sign in the lobby, directing me to take the elevator down one level. when I exited the elevator I saw a welcoming site with a beautiful stray of colorful seats and tables. As I walked toward the cafeteria style deli I saw a vast selection of drinks and food along with a white board with a list of sandwiches. I ordered the sandwich named (2 mess). It consisted of two eggs, two meats, and cheese. It was a really good sandwich, that was hot and fresh. The guy that took my order was very funny yet observant and aware. He recognized that it was my first visit, I asked him how he knew. In so many words and in my interpretation, he was implying that I looked lost, because I was looking around to see what was in the store. We had a hearty laugh together. The customer service was 5 star as well as the interaction. I wish I didn't wait 4 months to stop in. That's Joe king I've visited the area.“

“The food is always good and I do love coming here. The matzoball soup is one of my favorites. They also have a great wrap it’s like eating Thanksgiving dinner all wrapped up. The knishes are great and just don’t feel as heavy as you expect it to be.My one con was the phone interaction I had. Called in the beginning of the week said I needed something for a party for that weekend, they said I didn’t need to order ahead of time and I can just come in and it would be ready. I asked one more time I didn’t need to make they were cooked or Whatever. They confirmed nope come in and order. I had to drive about 20 miles out of the way to get to the store. I got there to order and they told me they were frozen is that ok? I obviously didn’t buy the frozen product. Your best bet is to just pre order everything or eat in store.“

“This tiny mom and pop deli is a staple in Washingtonville! Great breakfast sandwiches for sure! Haven't tried anything else besides those so I can't review the entire menu. There are always plenty of staff working to take your order and fix your food. Very short wait times no matter how busy they are.“

“The review that said they were quick is no joke, in and out faster than any other "fast food" places, and they cut the meat right there. Turkey sub is my go to when on the road, plenty of meat and good. Cookies are great too, definitely stop in if in the area.“

I passed the deli and just went in to get breakfast sandwiches and then realized what a gem of a place this was. Customer service top notch and the food was excellent.
