I love Irving’s the staff and owner are so warm and friendly! I get the favorite with extra chopped onions and no secret sauce and it slaps every time. The pastrami is so tender and juicy. I love this place

This place is a hidden gem in Farmingdale (Or atleast it was to me). Had the louisiana fried chicken and onion rings and was blown away.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. On Merrits in farmingdale. I try to review places that deserve kudos, unless my experience is just so... ummm... NOT GOOD, that I must warn others. Sooo, service was very fast and menu is very affordable. Place looks clean. BUT SMH. Where do I begin? Small (no tables unless you sit outside), never busy (living nearby I pass it multiple times daily). Nonetheless we've been dying to try this place for a long time. The pastrami is more fat than meat. Some fat is yum but this was overwhelming. Also lacking desperately in any seasoning. My husband asked for Cole slaw and pickle to no avail. Fine. We ordered cheese fries. UGGG WHAT THE @#$%?? I had to call them when we got home to ask what they were topped with because it is NASTY. Smells and tastes like mustard!! NOT KIDDING we really thought it was! I was told on the phone it was "cheez whiz". Huh?? I've had cheez whiz unfortunately and that was not it. This is a tart tangy pugnant bitter SMELLY sauce. Eww. Fries themselves were soggy and very undercooked. Having seen the bad reviews I believed were from haters or competitors I really went there prepared to give the place the benefit of the doubt. I'll leave it at that because I am repeating the few bites I had and do think I need to lay down right NOW. Sorry Irving :(

Just tried their delicious Knish & Churros & it did not disappoint! Even if you don’t eat meat you can come to this place & get delicious food! Not to mention their beautiful art inside! Absolute 10!

Great sandwiches!!! Had an Angry Irving and a Garlic steak. Great taste!! Also had a side of Loaded Fries which could be a meal in itself. Keep up the great work.
My 3rd time here and the foods always great. The guy gives generous amounts and even made my onion rings hot to go when I was late. Will stop by again whenever I’m in the area!

The portion sizes for a Pastrami Sandwich were very small and everything was very expensive. You are better off going to a traditional Jewish Deli.

Place is fire F all the haters. Yea sometimes u get a little more meat than other times but life ain't fair. I can taste the passion in each bite and the sauces are excellent. Clearly you can read the passion in the response to some idiots complaining about salty fries. I've been coming here for about 5 months and will continue to do so.

Ordered the angry Irving for my son and I. As my son ordered them, we brought them home. Thinking it was steak, ate the entire loaf. The after taste was pastrami. It didn't matter, it was a good sandwich. Will be back for the Philly cheese to sample.
