The sweetest lady in there runs the store, she makes amazing ramen and bubble tea!

This has been my best discovery in Woodside so far, and I've lived here for a year. I came in just needing some dashi, and the lady (whom I presume to be the owner) asked me what type I needed. I didn't even know there were types. Anyway, she helped me choose one based on what I wanted to cook. Beyond the lady's kindness, the grocery has a great selection of Japanese goods (noticed the Meiji Choco Baby, which I grew up snacking on). Tried the teriyaki chicken bowl, too - very delicious! While preparing my order, the lady offered me a taste of the seaweed they use, which is definitely fresh and natural. Overall, this place is an 11/10, would recommend. Please support this small business.

A curated collection of organic, healthy and not so healthy but delicious Japanese, Korean and America. Favorites. This little market has that ingredient you were missing (capers, red pepper flakes) and also boba- and fresh made sushi or bulgogi wrap. Everything is high quality and clearly selected with care- really grateful to find this spot!

It is NOT A STORE anymore. It's a very small sushi bar or whatever it is now. It has like 3 small tables and few chairs in the corner. They didn't even change the sign. I even asked where snacks were and the "sushi chef" pointed at a cooler with pre made sushi containers. Very disappointed.
