If you're on this page and surprised as I was to know that an Xi'an Famous Foods exists right here in this neighborhood, I'm here to tell you that it is in fact legit. The reason you've never heard about it before is probably due to its extremely limited hours. This spot is only open weekdays from 11:30-3 pm. Sorry in advance if you're visiting this page on a weekend with a craving for something spicy and delicious. The good news? LIC has two Xi'an locations that serve on the weekends, if you're willing to make a short trek. This is the strangest location for one of these, but when you visit on a weekday during lunch you'll see why it works. There are a ton of businesses back here with workers in need of a solid lunch option, and Xi'an is here to fill the void. The inside of this location has limited seating, just a few seats at the counter, but this is mostly a takeout spot. Other than that it's the consistently delicious options you'd find at any Xi'an. Even though we were one of the only few people in here, it still took about 15-20 minutes to get our orders, so be aware there may be a bit of a wait.

The stewed pork noodle with a mild heat is the best damn meal you can ask for. I'm sad they no longer make the tiger salad in the queens locations. It used to taste spectacular, I have had much of their menu I'd say anything you try here is really good, the oxtail is always delicious just very little protein unfortunately. The chicken is good but there's bones so you have to get your hands dirty, if you don't mind it is delicious. Go to town. If you didn't come here for noodles, you're a fool! I'm kidding (kind of) the vegetable dumplings are made with this sour sauce that I can just about guarantee you will drink the damn broth, that's a promise. I've done it multiple times :D. The service is pretty much Nil, self serve but they do clean up well. There's little to no ambiance, it is a place to go eat and scram. Get the stewed pork noodle it is Bomb.com.

Small joint with bar seating in the middle of nowhere in Woodside. Food is consistent with other chains. Spicy but delicious. Noodles were pulled on the spot. Noodles were a tad thick so it had a chewy texture. Not my fav but still good. Self service as expected.

Where the Xi'an becomes famous and travels to you. This is their central kitchen. No table service. But you can watch the noodles being spun and pounded. Food is super fresh and delicious. Eat at the counter or take it home.

I always come here get the pork burger to go, but recent 2 times are really disgusting, the employees don't chop the pork into smaller pieces anymore, it's a lot of huge chunks of fat, I almost want to vomiting after seen them. And they taste much salty than before .

This location is definitely understaffed. No one expects a rush of customers to swarm this area. However, whenever there are more than 4-5 customers in line, you start to notice how slow and understaffed they are. I feel bad for the staff, they look very busy all the time. Sometimes, because of rushing to catch up with orders, the noodles were not cut as fine as they do in other locations. They are a bit too big and too thick to the taste. The cold noodles also was lack of flavoring. The lamb noodles and the beef noodles were just not the right cut. One time during a busy hour, the beef in my noodle is basically just tendons and fat. Other than being understaffed, the food is still consistently good. I love this place.

Good quality for a reasonable price. The staff here is friendly and gives suggestions to accommodate your tastes. Bathroom is for paying customers which is standard for NYC. Grab some of their specialty Chinese drinks and hand pulled noodles.

Unique style of thick noodles. The aignage recommends you choose at least some chilli, and that you dine in, as the noodles don't survive transport well.

Great hand pulled noodles especially N9. If you can't have too much spicy stuff, get the mild but if you could take the heat try the hot hot

food is just like regular Chinese fast food. but its over priced. the cold noodle cost $5 in flushing n they charge $9.50. even 1 can of coke cost $2.50 to be exact.I don’t think it’s worth. there r same other fast food restaurant. choose wisely.

Food was great as usual. This post is about the lack of hygiene of a male employee. The restaurant wasn't too busy during the afternoon, so there was one employee working by himself. He was taking orders and preparing the food. I was looking for a seat, so I didn't see if he washed his hands before he put his bare hands on the the noodles that he pulled himself. It wasn't until another customer walked in and paid with cash. The employee took the cash and returned the change. I watched him proceed to prepare the food without washing his hands! I love Xi'an, but completely grossed out by the lack of hygiene of this employee. If the manager of this location sees this post, please be sure to remind your employees to wash their hands. If your employee is handling cash, touching door handles, or using their phone, they should wash their hands before they handle food. I hope it's just this particular employee and not everyone at this location.
