“The first thing I did when I got this food was tasted the rice by itself. It was warm, fluffy, fragrant, very tasty on its own. When I topped the rice with the black bean sauce, and the juice from the oxtail, that alone could have been my lunch. It was so good, all of the flavors were there. The oxtail was succulent. Fall off the bone. Soon as I put the bone in my mouth, the meat just came right off with no hesitation. Full blown explosion of flavors in my mouth. First time having Haitian style oxtail, and I absolutely loved it.“

“Visiting my childhood home town from Boston. Childhood friend and I drove by Bayview Kitchen on our way home. Initially thought it was a kitchen reno store then realized it was a restaurant. Decided to try. Always up for adventure. What a WOW! Staff from entry to restraunt were warm and friendly. Love the decor sleek and so clean. Service was great. Now the important part..the food. We both had the j*** chicken tostada which was super delicious. Ingredients were so fresh.. Right amount of spice and ingredients with a nice kick. Got a chance to speak with owner and chef. They were so proud of their restaurant and looking to hear our thoughts on our meal. We told them it was extra special. They are looking to provide fresh quality soul food to the community and I would say they exceeded our expectations. Wishing them success and looking to return on my next visit to Amityville. The outside stone work decor is so beautiful. Thank you for a great food experience. Give this place a try I believe you will not be disappointed.“

“Food was great and ready when I walked in. The only negative thing was the online payment. It charges you tax and fees with out giving details what the fee was for. Also 10% tip is set as a default option. Why am I tipping $8 to pick up my own food? There is an option to put zero tip.“

As we arrived for our 6:30 Open Table reservation, my wife and I were seated right away despite the busyness. Had the joy of meeting our server Renie (hope I spelled it right) and she was absolutely fantastic on attitude, knowledge and timeliness. Having had gastric sleeve surgery, I couldn't eat more than a few bites of my Shrimp Spectacular (in photo) but she was very attentive to make sure that we were not displeased with our meal because of how little we ate.I am not a seafood junkie so my food opinion here may not be the best but the shrimp spectacular was perfect for my palate. “Decided to check out this restaurant so I arrived at Hatch at 7 am sharp. I was the only customer in the establishment. The server behind the counter was truly amazing. I overloaded my Heuvos Rancheros with habanero sauce. My mouth was on fire. Every time I drained my glass he would replenish it with cold water. The mimosa I ordered with the breakfast was perfectly mixed. I was really amazed by the attention to detail and the service. I have a hot sauce fetish which makes me overload on HOT and follow up with water. I don't remember the server's name but he seemed to know my fetish with "el desayuno en fuego" and accommodated me perfectly. I hope the tip which I left was sufficient. Truly an amazing place.“

“This is my first ever Google review of anything … but think it is important to let people know that Tommys Tacos at the Old Big H shopping Center is doing everything right. Last week I hosted a poker tournament for 16 guys and went to Tommy’s Based upon my own Experience with his food as well as my Guests … who are all “foodies” and endorsed the decision. We rotate the game once a month and each month someone cooks or caters and in the the 5 years of the league (60 games) everyone agrees that Tommy’s knocked it out of the park. I worked with Bella in Catering but Tommy was good enough to step in and make the perfect selection. We went with a Tray pf Birria Tacos … Tray of Mixed Burritos … Street Salad topped with Blackened Shrimp … Chips … Salsa … Guacamole. We picked it up and the packaging was incredible in Tommy’s Tacos Boxes … Tommy even helped take it to the car. He treats his staff and customers right and it shows in the finished product. We have a lot of choices in town … but if you do not hit Tommy’s … you are missing the best Mexican in Town. They have recently added a bar and the servers are always incredible. Also … plenty of parking. If you are doing Shop Right … Home Depot … you have to stop in and get at least a Birria Taco and Margharita … it will remain your Staple for Mexican in Huntington. I also want to add … there was enough food to last all night and into the morning. The next day I took the left overs to a friends job site and fed three other guys who agreed … best they ever had … it it was a day old!!! Tommy also took my call the next day when I had the question … what is the best way to warm up and serve the next day. Again .. in Tommy you have a guy that is great and proud of what he does and does not over prove what he has to offer.“

“The wife and I stopped in for date night during Bayshore restaurant week. It's a nice spot, cozy environment, table spread is a good distance away from the next, it's clean and comfortable. They do get busy so get there early or make a reservation. We had the seasonal spread and shoshito pepper appetizers which were both very good, lots of flavor. I ordered the Shrimp and grits and even though I've never been a grits eater, I was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp and grits was incredibly good and had a ton of flavor. I ordered a classic margarita which was executed perfectly and the wife enjoyed her salad and mocktails as well. I would highly recommend this place and am certainly going back! “Our evening at Grasso's was terrific! The wait staff was very professional and attentive, the mood was lovely with a pianist playing in the background and birthday dinners celebrated with festive candles and singing and the food was spectacular! Our party enjoyed two different salads, which were delicious, and 4 different entrees each being over the top delicious. The menu is extensive and has very varied choices. We look forward to returning to Grasso's very soon! Try it; you'll love it!“

“Lots of fun visiting this location with my family. The café team was very nice and understanding as we were with a 6-year-old and 4-year old. They helped introduce the kids to the cats, even putting out treats so the cats would come out by them. After it was time to visit the cats we were able to enjoy the food and drinks from the café. Lots of fun to get my coffee while in support of a business helping animals in need.“

We had a total of 3 different servers, all female, and all were phenomenal. I forgot their names, unfortunately but again, they were all amazing and most importantly, friendly! The waitstaff was friendly and the service was quick.I got horchata to drink, a weekly special, crispy enoki mushrooms as my appetizer, and Gong Bao “Beef” tacos as my entree. Everything was super delicious. The mushrooms were the perfect texture, and the sauce made the dish! The fish was well seasoned and fried to seduce the palate. The long grain rice with beans was delicious. I had enough food to share with 2 people. The music was inviting while you wait. The owner gave me 2 mangoes for my husband and I to enjoy after the food. I appreciated her kind and positive attitude very much. I am already planning my next visit. Although Bennie was our server this past weekend - his as usual perfect service could not offset having possibly the worst table in the restaurant!!!!!!. Our party of four was seated in the doorway from the restaurant to the bar. On the other side of the doorway it was a table for 2 which is what our table should have been. My husband had to squeeze into the table and he is a small person. This reservation was made well in advance and not only repeat customers as ourselves but any party of four should have never been seated there. The constant being bumped into and the bus help reaching across our faces because they could not get around the table was pretty horrible and distracting.“

“First time at Linda's & was greeted right away. I had margarita slice which was very good. My husband had a square slice which he said was good. The regular slices didnt look appetizing at all but maybe everyone else ordered a specialty slice so they were out there too long? I choose my slice by the look of freshness. Limited inside seating. There are tables/benches across the street with beautiful views but it was pretty windy so we sat inside. There is a variety of food if you dont want pizza. We will come back again and maybe try a panini or a salad? They also have fish & soup if you dont want pizza“

“Sawadee is our favorite go to for takeout/delivery! We love their crispy wings and amazing noodles. Their lemongrass pork chops are amazing and flavorful. They are so accommodating when we request bread less wings, even though the breading is insanely good and crispy. Their pad Thai with chicken is juicy and well seasoned and their pad se ew with beef is phenomenal. They are also so sweet and their customer service is fantastic. Cant say enough about Sawadee!“

“My fiancé surprised me here for my birthday and it was a pretty upscale restaurant, but also has a casual vibe as well.The waiter mention the Australian lamb chop special and it did not disappoint. It was the best lamb chops we’ve ever had! I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. For the appetizer we had the baked clams and it tasted fresh.Since it was my birthday the decadent chocolate cake with a dramatic sparkler was on the house from the manager that we truly appreciated.Overall the food and the service was perfect, 10 out of 10 experience. “A good old fashioned Dinette. Very retro. Food was okay prices okay service okay. Kind of average in my opinion but still worth a try. Got the eggs and full hash menu option. Hash was supposed to be homemade but tasted more like a can variety. Not horrible but not anything special. Nice portion though. Three meals came to $70 with $10 tip.“
