How do they offer a platter with 2 sides, don't put in one of the sides because they ran out, but don't even call or anything to give the option to replace it with something else and still keep the full amount of money we paid and said nothing about it until we complained. Disgusting! Ordered garlic wings and received half baked wings with minced garlic thrown on them. Mac and cheese had absolutely no taste, just noodles with melted cheese… don’t waste your money here. Waste of $40

I ordered from them earlier today through DoorDash. The yams weren’t fully cooked they were dry not even a little sweet. The macaroni the cheese inside tasted fake like it was box macaroni. The only thing that was okay was the ribs and then even those kinda be on the rough side. Cornbread was dry ! The food here is on & off because I’ve ordered from here a few times one day the food can be decent and the next terrible

Good food and good portions. I ordered from Uber eats and I was not disappointed. This is the baked chicken, white rice and cabbage with a piece of cornbread. Everything tasted amazing. I ended up ordering the same thing the next day and adding mac n cheese. I would not recommend the mac n cheese (didn't get a pic) but, everything else was delicious again. Not too expensive although, everything is relatively expensive nowadays.

Went in at the end of their day.The Baked chicken was dry.The white rice is parboiled rice, bland.The green beans are from the can and pretty salty.The portion is pretty small for the size box they use.

Remarkable! Flavorful! Plentiful! Excellent portions. Oxtails, fried chicken and even the cabbage was off the chain!! You will never be disappointed. It's just not possible. The hospitality alone makes you want to go back time and time again.☆☆☆☆☆☆ A soulfood place above and beyond the rest. My new favorite place.

I've always wanted to try this place since it opened just haven't had the time until today, unfortunately I should've listened to the bad reviews. When I first entered I said hello and was not greeted but there was a friendly man on his way out that did say hello. I ordered the BBQ chicken, collard greens, yams, and a fish sandwich, the food wasn't very hot it was lukewarm. The chicken's was very dry like it was heated up and served, the greens I could definitely tell they were from out of the can 100%, and the yams weren't too bad. The fish on the fish sandwich did still have the tail and scales on it and wasn't seasoned at all. I really wish that my experience was better but unfortunately I will not be back.Parking: Not very good parking

Orderee today & disappointed would be an understatement! Meat was SOAKED in grease, mac & cheese was BURNT &the cornbread was not done and sticking to the foil! Let's not forget to mention the wait I had to endure while waiting for someone to come from the back & even take my order! BASICALLY I would not recommend, nor would I buy, from this establishment again! It's really a shame cause they really do have potential, it's just lacking at the moment ? and it would really help if they cleaned the restaurant! It's very dirty and "greasy looking" when ordering in person..This place definitely needs to be cleaned!I don't understand how they can still be operating a businessThe way they are

Sooo I came here a couple times around when they just opened up maybe 5 years ago. The food was pretty good. I've had better but it wasn't the worst and it was local so I didn't complain. I ordered twice recently after not ordering for maybe a year or so (due to grubhub saying my order was delivered-in which it wasn't- and the driver basically got away with stealing my food which is a little strange when I seen that this grubhub problem is a frequent thing with this specific restaurant. Not sure why but that's neither here nor there. So after ordering recently, the food just wasn't the same! At all. But one thing that is still banging and as good as it was when they first opened up is the collard greens! Anywho, I used to absolutely LOVE their cornbread so you can imagine how upset I was when my cornbread came completely burnt at the bottom!!! Like not a subtle browning kind of burnt where I can MAYBE scrape it off.... It was a "I'm throwing this whole damn thing away" kind of burnt which made me upset because as burnt as it was (never took a picture) it was almost disrespectful to even give that to a customer.. And then scrolling down and seeing that they gave someone else corn bread just as burnt as mine? Just not a good look AT ALL on their part. I gave them 2 start for the collard greens.

Food was great. However, make sure to triple check your food before leaving. I was missing food & realized when I got home. I called & they said come back for it. Obviously that wasn’t ideal so I asked for a refund for those items…to which I never received. My advice, open every container before you walk out or you’ll lose out on money & they are in no rush to resolve the matter.
