We stumbled on this restaurant while visiting NYC and staying in Yonkers. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast so much, we came back the next morning. Staff was great, food was great! Thanks Clairmont!!

The old cashiers lady is racist and rude, she makes mistakes and blames customers for then she treats whites & hispanics very different even tho shes hispanic that don’t make any sense old lady needs to be fired no manners, no self respect, no love for the customer, she has a disgusting attitude.

I'm guessing this diner is just for the local residents? It's small, loud and food is mediocre + overpriced. My group of 4 and I did not have a good experience here especially since there was barely any space to accommodate 5 adults. The only plus is the big parking lot and the coffee was ok.

Food is delicious and wait staff is pleasant. The cashier or assistant is such a wonderful lady.The dining areas are a bit too small when crowded.But my husband noticed a woman , who is often there for hours with her child. The table is large and can be used for other customers. The table is a mess full of papers, food, etc.

Small cute place from back in the day. Coming back to eat here over 30 years. Steady ? Diner meals. Always a parking spot. Never crowded which is a good thing.
A simple request to please turn down the radio was ignored. The woman in charge feigned adjusting the radio but twice the volume did not change. The third request was met with a attidute. Obviously her music was far more important than accommodation customers. Deciding to leave she was actually happy. We went down the road to another diner with a pleasant dinning room and had our lunch. Interesting to note the second diner was a bit more expensive than Clairmont but was quite full. I wonder why? Maybe check your competition Clairmont??? Keep the attitude Clairmont and happily watch your customers leave. Sooner or later the numbers will show on your bottom line.

This is a smaller and lesser known diner but do not be fooled, this place is where you want to go! Delicious breakfast, lunch, diner, everything on that menu is delicious! The staff are so friendly, polite, and attentive! If you want an authentic diner experience, look no further than the Clairmont Diner. You will not regret it!

Old fashioned diner with an extensive menu. We got there around 4:30 and where pleasantly surprised that they had early bird specials for $13.95. Im gluten free and they didn't have much for me but the had grilled flounder and it turned out to be delicious! You also got a salad, potato, vegetable and dessert! It definitely worth a trip back!
