I lived in Yonkers for 4 years and I’ve tried every store for a chopped cheese I was unsatisfied that I just usually go to the Bronx to get one but after today I’m saying bye to the Bronx. I’m saying hello to NEW ON THE BLOCK DELI AND GRILL. I tried one of the best chopped cheese in Yonkers in this store. Also one of the best stores with great helpful customer service. The gyro was amazing too. Thank you so much guys!!

Store was fully stocked during COVID19, including baby care products and other family necessities WITHOUT gouging the prices, especially important in that neighborhood. We had two lamb/chicken gyro mixed plates that were delicious, and worth not driving into Manhattan. Great variety store, very competitive prices.

They don’t have a set time of when they open or close ! The owner is disrespectful. He and his staff is always HIGH ! There are crackheads always in front of the store ! Also he allows junkies to run the store for him when he’s not there.
