An old school neighborhood bar where everyone really does know your name! Brilliant atmospheres and a great spot to watch sports! Love it!

Seemingly nice place. I've been coming here for about 6 years on and off. A typical drunk lady rambles on about how she doesn't make a lot of money as she continually spouted about her $140k (to 170k) a year and cries about her life and divorce. Nothing out of the ordinary, UNTIL, this lady yells ,"I'm a republican, I voted for trump!". Then goes off to rile the other patrons. Eventually some older man, yells out "W-T-F! whites for trump!", (not a typo, education at its finest) and the other patrons are laughing and getting more rowdy. At this point, my date and I, latino, know this night is about to take a turn for the worst, so we made a plan. She uses the bathroom, I finish my beer, and we go. By the time she uses the bathroom, this guy has began yelling so fiercely about "they don't belong here" and even a "let me get my klan outfit", close behind me. I'm not even enjoying the last beer but fixing to react to any unwanted touching or excessive closeness. I j*** back to defend myself to realize it's my date pulling my arm. To make things worse, the bartender is smiling and chuckling like grand wizard Fred is doing his Saturday routine. He states "uh oh, he's riled up again" and dismisses it. I can't believe this type of behavior is allowed and embraced. This place will never get my business again or any kind of recommendation. Maybe a place to round up the klansman of Yonkers. Wish there was a no stars button to be honest.

my buddy tells me to meet him in yonkers at nugents bar on palisades ave and glad i have a gps cause i never heard of this place or the area but i know who ted nugent is .a typical irish bar with its simple wood long bar layout with tvs across the walls and some more tables along the interior . the music is a good mix at a easy on the ears level . my friend who is late as always just happens to walk in and with a girl i don't know at all . i order a lite beer via the bottle not to look like a fool by ordering a diet soda and my friend and his new girlfriend for a day order two glasses of some type of booze which i am paying as the bartender mentions that will be 18 bucks pal . 20 bucks including his tip will keep me glued to the yankee game a bit while my dude gets his mack on . full array of booze and plenty of draft selections that i can see from the different emblems on beer handles . i not sure if they offer food as no one was eating at the bar but it's not a big deal .i like this bar as its very patron friendly and the bartender comes around to talk to the customers time to time . i stopped by when it was not that crowded so i was able to find a parking spot outside and i did not have to feed the meter after 7pm . will i come back , sure when my dear friend calls me to meet him here while he strikes out again with the ladies .overall a good friendly safe neighborhood bar in yonkers , nothing fancy and that's part of its charm and appeal .

Came in for a drink. Stayed for the jukebox. Very clean bathrooms, would s*** here again. Gary is a very nice bartender. Cowboy lookin guy was very entertaining.
