The food was great!!! Just one issue, the tacos didn’t have much flavor it needed some sauce or more seasoning and needed some more things in it, all it had was meat and guacamole, over all I enjoyed it the burrito and the nachos was good :)

It's okay if your hungry and can't wait until you get to your usual spot. I ordered the soft shell tacos and if your eating there at the shop it'll hold. By the time I got home every single one of the tacos broke apart. Toppings on the tacos were mediocre and didn't feel filling.

Was very excited to try the tacos but unfortunately I was left extremely disappointed. We ordered Steak Tacos Roja that supposedly came with avocado but I did not see any, the Chorizo Tacos did not even attempt to eat them. We also ordered the Street Corn and I am not sure how the managed it but it was lacking flavor. Nevertheless I will not be going there anytime soon.

To set the record straight as a genuine paying customer the customer service lacks a lot. Staff was slow and unapologetic. The food follows the same trend... the the tacos are extremely small and bland for named store. The other offerings were over priced and lacked any substance or flavor. Tons of room for improvement.

Pop’s Taco Shop opened yesterday. The taco’s are very good here. The Philly Cheese steak taco was good. They currently are working through a couple of kinks since they just opened yesterday. Worth the wait. If you drop it ask for Rob and tell him Ryan sent you!

Service was incredibly slow. Tacos here are a tiny snack not a meal. After a long wait expected them to at least be hot but that wasn’t the case. Instead very little flavor and I was hungry an hour later.

Got 3 burritos and 3 tacos, the food is bland. The burritos are literally nothing but rice with very little meat, beans or much else. The tacos are luke warm and the cheese still blockly from not being melted. Tacos have zero toppings on condiments. Not authentic tacos, not national chain tacos. I don't know what I just consumed.

I don’t know how to describe the nasty stuff I ate at this place but it definitely wasn’t Mexican food. I have eaten tacos from food trucks that tasted a million times better than the food from this place. I felt sick right after I ate there and realized that I was not alone in my experience. I agree with all the negative comments stated in the reviews and confirm that even Jesus can’t save the place. Merry merry Christmas in February?? They also don’t seem too generally with their sour cream which was actually stale. Don’t ever try it ??
I’ve wanted to try this place for a while but I’ve been reluctant given the reviews I’ve seen on here. Given the convenient location I decided to stop by today and I’m glad I did!I ordered the taco dorados and after paying I saw someone at the grill making some tacos that looked delicious. I asked what they were and it turns out the owner was at the grill and said he was making birria tacos and that I was truly missing out.After my order was ready, I sat down to eat and he came over with a sample of the birria tacos on the house along with some fresh hot peppers and we struck up a conversation. Really great and personable guy who owns another few businesses in the area. There were also several other happy customers enjoying their food as well so I told him I was happily surprised at how good the food was given the Google reviews I had read. Not to discount anyone’s negative experience, but it seems like only those with bad experiences are speaking out on here, while those who love this place are loyal repeat customers.If you’re on the fence, definitely give this place a try. I’d recommend both dishes I got today (tacos dorados and birria tacos) and will be back soon to try some of the other items on the menu that sounded great!

This was horrible. I ordered a fish taco and a shrimp taco. My husband ordered a steak and fish taco. He asked to have no avocado sauce because it makes him sick. They put it on anyway so he couldn’t eat it.The shrimp and fish tacos are not fresh. You can tell it’s some processed food from a can or something. The steak looked like poop (not even trying to be funny). I expected chopped steak not shredded.My husband also ordered rice and beans. We didn’t realize it was going to be refried beans and not actually beans. None the less it wasn’t bad. The only other thing we were able to eat were the chips and gauc. The presentation of their food could be better as well. And they give you no lettuce, or other additions. Won’t be going back here.

Came in to grab a quick lunch to go yesterday around 3PM. Thinking it would be quick, there was one customer in front of me when I arrived. I ordered 4 tacos, chicken tingA, short rib, shrimp and fish. It will 30 MINUTES for my FOUR tacos to get made. There were at least 5 people behind the counter. The person making my order seemed to be a new employee, NO ONE was helping him make my order! After 15 mins of waiting I asked what was going on and no one acknowledged me. I didn’t leave because I was rushing to get back home to work and didn’t have time to go elsewhere but NEVER AGAIN will I waste my time at this place. The tortillas were over cooked and hard. The meats and toppings were just ok. Not worth the wait or aggravation. I hope management is reading this and DO BETTER moving forward! Train your staff! Again, train your staff to work as a team!!!! There’s no reason it should take 30 minutes to make 4 freaking tacos!

By far the worst taco place in New York, it was so bad I didn’t eat the guacamole, who doesn’t finish the guacamole?! That’s how bad it was, the tacos were wack who puts beans on tacos , the nachos with steak had less than ounce of meat the nachos looked like pita Chips they were so hard I honestly eat my nachos because I spent 40 dollars on the meal. I would not recommend and who ever puts 5 starts you need to get your taste buds check
