I grew up 60 miles north of Ny city. I tasted a lot of pizza in my time. I lived in Massachusetts and currently living in Connecticut. I got the pepperoni and sausage pizza as well a separate cheese pizza. The perfect crust, cheese and the amazing sauce applied on these delicious pizzas was amazing. The best I tasted. Not only that I didn't pay over $ 21 for a large 2 topping pizza like a lot of places. The pizza here is top notch. You have to go to this place it is a gem.

I’ve been going to A & V for years. It’s a great local pizzeria / restaurant. Been to the restaurant a couple of times. Love the baked clams. Although, I usually just go to the pizzeria. Take out pizza every week. The chicken sarpariella pizza is excellent and my son loves the chicken bacon ranch.

Not sure why, but not only this Resturant but other take out as well, the chicken dishes are not tender at all, I know there are all quailities of cut of chicken but for some reason all the chicken dishes are very tough, ordered more than once chicken dishes, marsala, parma and both were not tender at all. Their Pasta dishes are very good tho. I really feel it has to do with the selection of chicken breasts, therer are all prices of chicken, of course the more expensive cut is so much better, rather pay a few bucks more for the better cuts.
