Being in NYC area, we are all use to eating Halal Guys cart and restaurant ONLY and never got a chance to try Shah’s restaurant. My brother took me to this hidden gem over the weekend in Yonkers and I must say that the food was delicious and had its own taste compare to Halal Guys being very blend in taste. I would like to add one more thing that Shah’s food portion is very satisfying not like Halal Guy’s being very small portion. The price tag is very reasonable. I had tried their Mix over Rice, Potato Pakora and Chapli Kabab Platter with Chips and enjoyed it so much. They have their own parking lot so you don’t need to worry about parking at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you around the area.

Not sure how it’s rated so high — the food is barely edible. Many guess is paid reviews. Microwaved food at best.Chicken is dry and Kofta tastes like a rubber band. Chewy like bad calamari and nothing resembling kofta.And the freaking falafels, hard as rocks.I would be ashamed serving this food to people.

Visitied this location . Got two salads and requested the sauces seperately as they get soggy on the way home. I was charged for the white sauce. If I am not putting white sauce in the platter then I am sorry but one packet of your white sauce is not enough . I had requested one extra and was charged.

I never liked halal until I try in this store, so I become a fan since day one. The last 2 times that I buy food over here I noticed that the piece of chicken are extremely small and way too much pieces of something that feels like skin or grease from the meat and it's way too spicy. Last time I had a terrible stomach pain after ate it but I thought it could be something else. Today besides something so much worse then stomach pain, I got nauseas, diarrhea that got me in the toilet 7 times already, I'm shaking and I'm dizzy... they change the meat and they put it spicy so the costumer won't noticed the flavor of the different meat. Never again.
