It seems like a great atmosphere but my opinion they could be so much more. The view is beautiful the hours are lacking and the menu was not very exciting. A great spot like this it seems could do so much more and be so much better

After my round at the Sprain Lake Golf Course, I really needed to get something to eat before driving home. I ordered the mushroom burger (rare), I had it with cheddar cheese. Cook nailed the rare part & the fries were really good. Wait staff/bar maid was friendly & quick.

Tavern basically the "19th" hole of the Golf Course...went there for dinner at 6pm was told Kitchen/facility closes at 7pm, so looks like daytime facility catering to golfers on course and accompany members .

Had a surprise retirement function there.. Mike the manager and other stafff was very helpful. The place was clean and spacious for 30 or more guests. Food for my buffet was also good.

I was there today. It is a great value for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The meals are huge. The restaurant sits high atop The Sprain Brook Public Golf Course, in North East Yonkers, NY, 10710. Nice bar, big television, patio, indoor & outdoor dinning and free parking . The staff is kind and attentive. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is fantastic. The views are pleasant. The foliage is prestine. You do not have to be a golfer to enjoy this restaurant with family or friends. It's quiet and subdued. Give it a shot. It's worth it.

Not dog friendly. Don't waste your time bringing the pup here. The waitress/bartender was a little aloof and said we could bring our dog but would have to move if someone said something... other than that they "seem like good people, on both sides"
