The restaurant itself is nice and has a good vibe. This is one of those restaurants that try to look nice and fancy but the food is actually terrible. I had the 14 oz strip steak and asked for well done. I was given medium rare, with very sweet maybe glazed collard greens. My friend absolutely hated her mac and cheese, she spit it out as soon as she tried it. My wild mushrooms tasted exactly like the name, like it came from the wild. The mushrooms were not salteed at all! They were just nasty and so were the carmelized onions. Maybe this restaurant is for an acquired taste but it didn’t acquire mine or any of my 7 friends here with me. I spent $71 just to still walk out hungry because i couldn’t bare to eat bad food. They didn’t care that we didn’t like it

Pretty good service and atmosphere. Food was definitely an acquired taste though. I had the crab cake as an appetizer. I did not like it. 2 of my friends also ordered this appetizer and they enjoyed it. For my main dish I had the braised short ribs. The meat was very tender and cooked well however it had very little flavor and was quite bland and also greasy.

Started with a dirty wine glass that I had to show the server before they poured wine. Flatbread was room temperature.

NOT WORTH IT. NOT GOING BACK. We visited dab on 1/13/24. We had a reservation for two people that was made in honor of a special occasion. Our special occasion for visiting dba was never mentioned or recognized by any staff member during the entire visit. We were seated at a two person table that was literally 18 inches from the next two person table. (5 of these tables very close to each other) We could hear every word of the conversation at the table next to ours, almost as if we were sitting with them. It was way too close. Dba is a small place but one of these two person tables should be removed to provide more comfortable dining space. Our food was mediocre at best. $50+ for a strip steak that wasn’t seasoned correctly nor seared correctly isn’t worth it. We have dined here on at least 5 occasions previously. This was the worst experience we’ve had here over the past few years. We won’t go back. There are better fine dining options elsewhere.

Me and my husband received a gift card here and were excited to have a date night out. However, we were quite disappointed in the food and quality. We felt that almost everything was very mediocre. I had the salmon which was good but the lemon butter sauce was rather bland and my husband ordered the seabass which was overly fishy, and truly good seabass is not supposed be. He has had excellent seabass in Costa Rica and in Las Vegas and this one was a big disappointment. The salads were mediocre. I will say that the creme brûlée was very good, but that is the only thing that impressed me along with an excellent Riesling I tried. However, the reason for my 2 star review, is that I woke up in the middle of the night feeling very strange and I actually ended up vomiting up all my food! Something made me very sick. I knew it was from the food I ate here because I had nothing else to eat after dinner. And I am not ill and instantly felt better once I got it out of my system. This makes me question the quality of their food while also being generally let down by the whole experience. We won’t be back.

My initial visit to the restaurant two weeks ago was a delight; the food and overall experience were exceptional. However, when I returned with friends last week, the situation took a disappointing turn. Although the server started off amicably, she consistently forgot small details. Following the main course, she disappeared and engaged in lengthy conversations with another table, neglecting our needs entirely. Our friend, who is expecting, ordered a well-done Kobe burger that arrived raw. Despite our attempts to get the server's attention by waving for 10-15 minutes, she remained engrossed in conversation with the other table. Frustrated, we had to approach her ourselves, emphasizing the urgency due to the pregnancy. Her response, a casual remark about having kids and understanding, was disheartening. The dessert experience further added to our dissatisfaction. The server handed us the menu, returned to the same table, and ignored us for a prolonged 20 minutes while we awaited her return. When we finally managed to place our order and request the check, one of our friends couldn't contain their frustration, making a comment about at least bringing one thing quickly – the check.Post-dinner, we decided to address our concerns with the manager. To our surprise, he shifted the blame to us, citing the shaky nature of the industry and accusing us of being mean to the server. Spending $400, we expected attentive service, timely orders, and plates cleared. The manager's warning about not being rude to servers, hinting at potential repercussions in the food, left us astounded.Regrettably, our once-loved restaurant has now become a place we have no intention of revisiting.

This place is so cool. It's not pompous, but it's obviously high-quality. The food and service are excellent. Get the truffle tots!!

Just finished a lovely dinner on the patio and had to give 5 stars. The space is lovely, and the food was delicious. I had the Kobe burger on the recommendation of my waiter, Greg, and he was spot on. Everyone working was excellent, extremely friendly, and the service was top notch. When I’m traveling for work, a nice dinner spot is always a plus, but friendly staff and a nice atmosphere to chill with a book is the cherry on top. Highly recommend.
