The is about the Bakery and store manager! I came to this business to take the apprentice class they our offer people! It wasn't about the money because I'm a Lpn just wanted to learn program! I was told that the program will last 6 weeks how ever it's going on 5 months and ever since I said I was go contact union because I need to be paid more that was the purpose of the second job and to heal my body because I had got Cancer so I had to step down from nursing position to heal! I ask them for comfortable shoes they got mad at that because we stand up all day they won't provide a floor mat for there workers they just now as of 2/8/2024 put a book in break for because I contacted the union! I was to smart for them they like to hire people with disability program so they can control them and have them running around like slaves for that little bit of money!!!!!!!! No sir !!!! The store manager and the woman that runs the program at Waterloo are racist they only want whites working at this store they been firing all the Black people this week and last week!! It's sad because they have a (house nigga )in charge at this location the store ceo!!!! Definitely don't respect a man like him! Not for black people at all and he his self is black smh! I do not recommend signing up for the apprenticeship program they don't know what they doing they schedule all different time first it was 5am to 1pm then they changed it to 6/2pm them. They changed it to 8pm to 4am they all over the board as you can see run ! There store manager is a racist but said he not but that's what they all say until you out smart them !! Shop at ACME where they treat the employees and customers fear! RUN FROM Giant' Eagle on Waterloo rd not for the Black community and there food is to high I would shop at ALDIs also good place and great prices! They don't deserve a star but I had to post one in order for the review to post !!! I forgot to mention all this happened because I didn't want to change store because it's to far way from my home and I take my children to school and they don't offer gas and they wanted to change my times from6/2pm to 8pm to 4am no I want to go to bed like normal people do!!!

This review is specifically for the bakery. Just picked up a cake this morning and the woman working was very nice and friendly. The cake I bought was really good. Not overly sweet. The strawberries were fresh.The store in general is very clean and organized and the shelves are always well stocked. This is one of my favorite locations.

Normaly I love this store and have not had problems with baked goods such as breads. But this Almond Raspberry white chocolate cake was a huge disappointment for my birthday cake. Seriously a small dot of Raspberry filling might as well not have been there for as much as it wasn't.
My elderly mom get her scripts here @ 2801 Waterloo Rd. My dad picks them up for her as she's disabled. He has told me on more than one occasion that they're rude and short with him. They tell him they're so busy these days & "have a lot going on". I go to another GE pharmacy in Hartville and they have great customer service, are kind and courteous. If you have an option, don't pick this pharmacy. Maybe it's their management that makes these pharmacy employees stressed and angry.

Typical of this giant eagle, no sign saying they closed the bank inside. You have to walk all the way in to find out. When you have a bad knee it can be difficult. Very poor store, slow to restock, takes days. No help or only one register open. Poor store

Yesterday, I had about 15 minutes to spare to pick up necessities for my 7 younger children before going to chemo with our oldest. I was trying to hussle through self check out (due to only 2 registers being open with long lines). I moved a bag over to make room for more items and it froze up the screen which brought the cashier over to me. After that I did NOT touch the bags as I proceeded to pay.
