Tried this place for the first time! Wow how amazing! The food was delicious. Service was friendly, chef came out to talk to us. Love it here. Will definitely recommend the food here. I'll be back for sure!!!

I usually get the chicken and French toast!! It’s to die for. Waits are usually long but it’s worth it. Only thing I don’t like is everytime I go to sign my credit card slip the bartender stands over me and it’s a little awkward. Great food! Highly recommended

If my husband and I could leave zero stars at this “restaurant” we would. Terrible service from the so called waitress. We literally waited an hour and in an empty restaurant and our food never showed up. When the waitress came to ask us if we needed anything else I asked her is our food going to be here soon she just looked at me and said no, smirked and walked away. My husband and I sat there for maybe another 10 minutes in an empty restaurant the staff were nowhere to be seen and we just left I have never in my life been an establishment with this bad of service and I don’t know how the hell they have such good reviews as we will never be coming back here again.

Warning!! Before eating here order a good hour ahead! This is a true black restaurant to a T but you gotta love it because the food is out of this world ? ok maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit but I'm just saying I ain't ever had French toast taste as good as their's did before. It was almost like a donut ?. Also their fried chicken is the truth! I'm not going to lie I waited almost 2 hours at the restaurant for this food and was very upset but as soon as I sat down and started eating lets just say I shut my mouth. Mick and Shirley's definitely delivered.
