Great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, they just experienced a bad fire and the property was badly damaged.

My husband and I absolutely love Pavona's and have been eating here for years! It's our favorite pizza place locally by far!

Sadly , Pavona's had a fire 10/2022 and was destroyed. Business is closed as of this time.

Got pizza Saturday and it was good. Expensive but good. Well now their phone number doesn’t work. I’ll update the star rating when they pay their phone bill.

Yesterday was my wife and I's first experience here, we have been meaning to stop in and we had the chance to and we are so glad We did. When We came in we were immediately greeted by the staff. Our server Maya followed us to our table where she gave us a run down of the menu and personal suggestions on what she likes and what is most popular. The food was amazing I got a small pepperoni and sausage pizza and my wife got the white pie. The pizzas were cooked so perfectly and had the right amount of every flavor mother over powered. The pizza came out fast and very hot when it got to us. Our server checked on us many times throughout our meal and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be coming back.

Nice outdoor sitting and great food

The pizza wasn't anything special though I'm a s***** for a brick oven pie. The dough was very good but lacked a crisp. I also felt like I didn't have hardly any sauce on the pizza which lead to a lack of flavor in general. I would probably try a specialty pizza next time to see if it packed a better punch to flavor town.

Pizza was good. Not good 4% charge to use a credit card. We paid cash and it still was charged. Server said sorry out of silverware because no dishwasher. Really? Go wash some was my advice

I ate here for dinner when traveling through town. The mushroom madness pizza was excellent. The service was attentive, and the iced tea was excellent. I will revisit the restaurant the next time I am in the Akron area and desire pizza.

My first experience was good but I just ate here today. The server was clueless, they were out of everything and more importantly..the display of their personal politics all over the walls and ceiling were intrusive. I'm all for believing in what you want but it was ridiculous. Let me also mention the yahoos who were letting their kid hang from some metal bars on the outdoor patio. You couldn't enjoy your dinner if you wanted to. We were so stressed thinking the kid was going to fall and crack his face open yet the adults were talking a video of it all. This review says it all. Never ever ever going there again.

Wow. Let me tell you, Pavona's is the best pizza in the area. Now, if you are a loyal follower of my Yelping, you know I come from Italian lineage therefore, I'd like to say I know good pie. With that being said, Pavona's is off the charts. My go to is a sausage and green pepper with red sauce. The red sauce is equivalent to a refreshing IPA on a summer day, the fresh sausage reminds me of a bike ride in a Luca village, and the green peppers take me on a lush jungle adventure in a tropical rainforest. Woah. Can you feel that, me too. The beer selection is superb and they even have $1 beer selections. This small family owned pub and pizza joint is my go to here in the beautiful city of Akron.

Best pizza in the Akron area. Light crust, awesome sauce and a lovely cheese to top it all off. The help is friendly and it's a family ran operation. HARD TO BEAT!

How can pizza be both soggy and burned? If you want to solve this question visit this business. Oh and if you also want slow surly service, this place is for you!

$0.20 added to ea $5 special and they added 4% to the bill for "taxes" but actually a credit card fee before you pay so you're paying a credit card fee even if you pay cash super shady. The waitress never came back after she gave us our pizza and my pizza came out messed up. The dough formed a huge bubble so there was nothing on 2 of the 4 pieces. The pizza was just ok. The wine was not good. I tried the house blend white and house blend red. The red was terrible

Tldr: meh food, worse attitude, not worth the cost. Will never get food from here againGot this tonight (2/9/22) and it was not great. Got a large half pep, half sausage/pep; crazy bread; some the micro brew diet cola; and a slice of new York cheesecake. Let's review the food:Pizza: tasted like a knock-off version of that all fired up pizza place, and was room temp when we picked it up (scheduled for 8pm, Got there at 802pm)Crazy bread: also a knock off version of all fired up pizza, also room temp, had almost 0 cheese one it at all.Micro brew diet cola: pretty decent, light of flavorNew York cheesecake: has sauce on it, doesn't say that when you order. It is so small that I could give it to my 10 month old as a snackNow, you may ask why we didn't say anything while picking up. Well, the attitude of everyone we interacted at this location was horrible. Snotty, clipped answers to questions, no greeting when entering, seemed like we as paying customers were just an inconvenience to dare to interrupt them to get our food.
