“This place has been around since i was a child and im in my 60s its always had soft serve custard. People shouldnt expect nothing more. The flavors they come up with are ok for some.but the banana,blk raspberry,choc almond, and a few other flavors they are known for and they are yummy........ so if you know about stricklands than you know wht to expect... clean very friendly great custard and cool airplanes coming and going ...enjoy your summer“
“Our family loves going here so much, our kid just calls it the Ice Cream place. I like trying new ice creams each time we go and my wife generally does the four scoop sampler and alternates between the same 6 flavors. Our son loves the strawberry sorbet, pistachio ice cream and any of the birthday cake ones.“
“The beer is always great. The Cuban sandwich was incredible… except… if I may be so bold… the yellow mustard is traditional, but the option of spice, honey mustard, any other would have made it the best sandwich in the tri-county area. Thank you!“

We enjoy the vibe of the place, the shelf full of games, and that it’s family friendly. We frequent often while on bike rides. Bonus points for ample indoor bike parking.“

“This is the place to be if you want some good barbecue or Fried Chicken catfish or whatever your home cooking that you might likeParking: It's kind of on a busy street but you can park in the front or along the sides it's got places you can sit at the tables while you order your food I'm not sure if you can eat there or not but they have window there you can order you can sit there while you wait all your food most people take it out but really good food and good service prices are great“

I applaud them for not being greedy like the other big fast food clowns are these days. Honestly their prices have remained very fair, but the taste.. is top notch! “I have been to a Swensons in Canton, Cincy, CBus, CLE, and Akron and I have loved each and every time I've been to one. Their food is literally one of my favorite things about Ohio and more specifically NE Ohio thanks to a large grouping of them. I moved out of state for a few years and I missed the retro vibes the drive in has and the wonderful service I always experienced. I recommend Swensons to literally anyone I can, I've been going since I was a kid.“
“We got a fried bologna sandwich, sloppy Joe and onion rings. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Just park, turn your lights on, and they come take your order. You don't have to leave your car. Very reasonably priced also. Highly recommend the onion rings.“
