Very authentic Mexican food that is made from scratch with quality ingredients. Very good dark Mole' sauce every day, and other style Mole's on occasion. The cooks (one being the owner) care about what they are serving, and it shows. Great presentation of food items. Not an elaborate building or environment, just good food. Ordering "off the menu" is encouraged. Large bowls of soup and many other items that you may not expect to see here. There is also an attached bar.

Well i was looking forward to trying something new and figured the food had to be amazing if they have been established for 20 yrs...boy was i sadly mistaken. My dinner was cold and my chorizo with cheese was watery...gross!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone...i paid $22 for two meals of steak enchiladas...and chorizo with chips...what a rip off!!!

I ate here three times in three weeks. Mexican tacos were good other than that gross bad burrito terrible American tacos just horrible food!! Watery queso (which was fixed) weird quac… and soda machine doesn’t work always same waitress very nice girl decent service but she’s also making drinks so it’s not always easy to get things fixed when you do have problems.

Ok so I've been here a handful of times now and live very close. While the food is good (the tacos are outstanding), it doesn't dazzle me. The pozole is outstanding don't get me wrong, but what legitimate Mexican place serves lettuce with pozole rather than cabbage?? I mean maybe people like wilted lettuce but I'm not one of them lol. Also, you need radishes. Growing up in Southern California I can say I've eaten authentic pozole more times than I can count, and you can't have it without cabbage! If I come back I'll seriously bring my own stash that is how vital it is to the dish IMHO. The server is nice and the service is fine. Also, they just opened a bar next door which I haven't been to but I heard they have a DJ on Saturday nights.

People have no idea how to handle the workload or keep track of orders here and the place is building up with smoke that smells dirty and makes my eyes water. Disappointed.

Maybe at one point this was the best place to eat, but I don't know what happened. My food was cold, the portions are small for the price I paid, and the last straw was when I saw roaches crawling along the wall. I still paid for what I ordered, but I left without eating any more of it.

Buyer beware this place has roaches!!! So many roaches the upstairs apartment tenants had to have weekly exterminators in order to manage the infestation coming from the restaurant. They don’t take care of their own roach issue. Gross

My husband got a whole different meal than what we ordered. Everything was just ok I guess nothing I’d be like excited to eat salsa was watered down same with the Mexican strawberry drinks if you’re gonna charge $3.50 for a drink at least don’t water it down. I wanted hard tacos and got soft. And both my husband and my steak was over cooked

Because of COVID, this place is struggling. However, David always makes the best out of every situation he has. The revised menu with a collard greens and pork burrito is something I'd never had, but something that was pleasantly delicious.Stop in, get it takeout, if you've never been, or been in the past, because as this virus rages on places like this are going to continue to struggle and/or close.Stop supporting the chain who doesn't need your business. Go to the place where you're loved and respected.And, if you like hot salsas, ask for the Verde, thank me later.

The food is BOMB but they have roaches i promise you they do, I used to work there and let me tell you what they FOR SURE have roaches..... Sucks bc they have the best food in Ohio.
I love the menudo, which is oddly difficult to find around this area. This place never disappoints!
