I rarely leave bad reviews.. but the food here is horrible, no taste, everything was burnt but the noodles, no taste whatsoever.. the chef could care less that we were here, the food was cooked and distributed as fast as possible.. I seen other reviews about the no taste.. thought it's just a bad day. They are right.! Stay far away from this place!

Went with 7 friends and had a blast. We met about 6 and there was nobody else there. The hostess commanded our attention and explained what we needed to know. Our cook was very skilled and entertaining. I wasn't thinking and only got one picture. I hope we all decide to go back soon.

I was sitting at a table near the entrance to their kitchen. I was alone. The curtain that covered the door went from the top to halfway down the doorway, so part of the kitchen could be seen from my table. I heard some thing that caught my attention, and I looked inside to see my waitress, brushing her teeth and using a water pick in the sink. This is the same area where food is prepared!! Some thing about this totally grossed me out! Won’t return. I did manage to snap a couple pictures after she set her water pic down. I will post those pictures.

I met a business associate for lunch. I ordered one of the lunch special rolls. Honestly, it was okay. Not great. With so many good sushi places in Akron area, it wouldn't be my first choice. The place is spacious and the service was very good. So I would give them another chance to impress me.

They do use a bit of garlic, which isn't too bad and I think adds to the flavor.The bad for me:They do not include the ginger soy sauce for your dipping, and only yum-yum. Yum-yum is still good.They use yum-yum for their salad dressing which isn't bad, but I still prefer my ginger salad dressing.If you have never tried this place, I would suggest you try it out. You will be quite pleased.

We always have a great experience when we dine at Shogun. While we stop in often for birthdays, we stopped in last night just to hang out with family and friends. The restaurant is always very clean, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Me and my wife went for our anniversary and it was ao disappointing. This was my wifes favorite special place to go. I mean we don't spend $100 dollars on dinner out too often. Her soulp had a piece of paper from a straw floating in it the salad had so much water downeed dressings on it, i thought it was aoup. My chicken was extremely dry and hard and the shrip was like chewing on a pencil eraser. The waitress did not speak English so it was impossible to communicate. The sushi rolls were half the size of most restaurants and not fresh. Don't waist your time like my wife said its time to find a new place

Food has no flavor at all other people got more food than we did. All of the sauces are watered down to save money. They automatically take a tip of 15% out on their own with out asking. They give you noodles and rice even if you didn’t ask for both. The workers are nice and respectful. But over all they shouldn’t water down products to save money. The salad dressing was watered down it was like a salad soup or some ish!
