To start, the guacamole and salsa were delish. The chicken quesadilla and the beef quesabirra were authentically Mexican and beyond good. I lived in Texas for many years and have visited Mexico several times. This restaurant understands the importance of using fresh ingredients. The service was consistent with the food (Luis was our waiter). A special note. The legs on the table are way too bulky, which makes moving your legs around a bit difficult. I hope at some point they change the tables or modify them by installing new bases. The ladies' room was clean; they should move the trash can by the door. We use the paper towel to open the latch. A nit, but important. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Don't forget to ask for the lunch menu during lunch hours. There is a significant difference in prices. My guest and I highly recommend Taqueria LA Loma. Bon appetite.

I've always loved the food at this place but if they could stay open until 9pm when they're listed to be open, that would be really nice but they don't. they close whenever they want. 7- 8 pm. most of the time it's 8:00 and that's ridiculous. change your signs if you're only going to be open until 8:00 but as of right now it says every day they're open until 9:00 on their door and it's incorrect.

So this is our new go to for Mexican food!!! The seasoning on the grilled chicken is perfect! Staff is beyond nice and helpful. The hot sauce they bring to the table with the warm chips and freshly made salsa is super hot but soooooo good!! But I think the real gem is the little grocery store attached to the restaurant. They have everything directly from Mexico so there are a lot of treats you can't get here. And the prices are great. Now let's move on to the bakery.... They have donuts and croissants that are huge and super fresh. The taste is amazing.(As much as you are tempted, DO NOT eat these flakey treats in your car!!) I'm a bit confused on the pricing. One day they were $1.50 and the next $2. But they could have been $5 each and well worth it!!! But wait, there's more!! There's an ice cream shop next door attached to a little party store to buy candy in bulk and pinatas to stuff it all in. This place is hands down one of the best little gems in all of Akron. 10/10 would recommend over any Mexican food and grocery in the whole city!!!
