I will not be back. The food is over priced for what they call soul food. $5 for a Dixie cup of grass they call greens. The corn bread is not sweet. It was like eating straight corn meal. Here’s a tip, soul food is made with love and seasonings. This place has neither.

New to the area. I wasn’t sure if the establishment was open for business when I arrived. However, I saw signs to drive to the window and the back door open.I ordered the 4 piece chicken dinner. Customer service was great, I had to wait 15 mins for my food to be prepay fresh. Definitely a treat to indulge in, everything was well seasoned, hot and fresh!!I will be visiting again.

This is the epitome of Soul Food in Akron. Everything is from scratch. They have a huge smoker. I had the ribs. The sauce is house-made. Sides for me were mac-n-cheese and baked beans. You can taste the love. You can tell the staff is proud of what they serve.
The food here is always so good. We stopped in last night and were also impressed with the service. The kitchen double checked with us as to how we wanted the timing of our food to come out. It was a small thing that made a big difference. The vibe is always fun; great energy.

I ordered bread pudding. Got charged for bread pudding.. recieved no bread pudding and when I called to ask about it, no one answered. Pretty disappointed and I'm out $7 for something I never received or the business cared to fix.

Ordered the rib tip dinner. As my sides I ordered potato salad and greens. The potato salad was good and the greens were a little bland.I’m so disappointed in my rib tips. So dry so chewy and a weird taste I can’t put my finger on. I never leave reviews but I was so disappointed in my food I had to. The Mac n cheese was also not what I was expecting.

I was treated exceptionally well and was given great attention. The woman who took my order was super nice. I ordered a rib tip dinner and everything was hot, correct and delicious. Everything I've gotten here has been really good. You should check it out.

I keep coming back here thinking it's too good to be true. Their food is top notch, staff is always friendly as could be, and everything is priced right. I finally took the risk of ordering or door dash, and they even took it into consideration and packed everything to make it stayed as hot as possible. I will continue to order from here and they've never let me down. Jambalaya is *incredible* A side of shrimp is huge and so perfectly breaded. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered a fish dinner with collard greens, pinto beans and a side of peach cobbler. The food was not prepared properly the pinto beans smelled like spoiled milk as if they left it out for a couple of days and then refrigerated it. the collard greens tasted like moth balls and also tasted like they have been refrozen a couple times. my fish was uncooked i bit into it and it was very transluscent the peach cobler was very mushy and doughy. im very dissapointed i wasted my money to eat food that should have been thrown in the trash. i wont be ordering from this place anymore!!!
I waited in the Drive-Thru 35 minutes this place is a joke Unfortunately there are not a lot of Southern type food places around this place is ridiculously slow food is mushy building is outdated and kitchen doesn't look safe or sanitary tread tastebuds carefully.
