It had the perfect balance of buttercream and custard as the filling and the candied almond slivers that encrusted the cake were exactly as I wanted. The staff were a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions to get the cake perfect!!!

This is the first cake I had in a very long time that was so perfect. Very most great flavor awesome icing just perfect for my son’s 1st birthday cake, they nailed it! I also had a piece of cheesecake and it was sooooo delicious. The West Side Bakery now has a new loyal customer! Highly recommend. We used The West Side Bakery for our wedding cake for our October 6th wedding. Throughout the whole process they were very helpful and accommodating with information and setting up our cake tasting. The tasting cakes were beautiful and the cake flavors we chose were delicious and made it an easy decision to choose them to make our wedding cake. We chose a two tier cake with almond cake and raspberry preserves filling and then we did two half sheet cakes, chocolate with peanut butter filling and pumpkin with cream cheese filling. These cakes were ALL delicious! The main cake was also beautifully decorated. We can't wait to get our anniversary cake from The West Side Bakery!

Not only did they take care of us on such short notice, but they made sure we got what we wanted with our original design and flavors!
