Delicious!!! I had been wanting to try this place for a while, I am rarely ever in downtown Akron but I was today for an appt.. so I stopped in, we got a Danny Trejo pizza, an Oh Martha pizza and also a Cousin Vinny sub (I’m a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches and have trouble finding good ones and this did NOT disappoint), I got my hopes up and was not let down! I read the menu and I pictured what the food would look like and how it would taste based on the description and it came out even better looking and tasting than I imagined (which as we all know doesn’t always happen at a restaurant), this place is a gem! I will be back and I hope that one day I am stoned enough to try the Scooby and Shaggy pizza lol!!

First and foremost, FANTASTIC! Love the way the storefront is set up. The staff was very kind. I thought it was a little pricey while I was ordering... But then I tasted the food and it made total sense! The food is amazing! Highly recommend the Betty White, the Jefferies, and the cannolis. I'm a sucker for a good cannoli and theirs are ON POINT! Their food is perfectly simple, or simply perfect. It's not overly seasoned and not under seasoned. It's simple and delicious. Toppings tasted very fresh and there was PLENTY of cheese on all dishes. They have fantastic crust too. Wish I would've gotten something to dip my crust in ? all in all, fantastic experience and I'll definitely be returning. Was at Akron city hospital having a baby but I'll gladly make the trip from Barberton to pickup some of their (should be award winning) pizza!

We visited for the first time yesterday and loved everything about it! The vibe is completely laid back and everyone was so nice. The owner was working in the kitchen and checked on us quite frequently during our time at the restaurant. We ordered the “Oh, Martha” and the “Willie Nelson” both of which had plenty of toppings and so much flavor. The crust was cooked amazingly well and is the perfect hybrid between a traditional and thin crust. We also ordered the lemonade (happened to be cranberry flavored on our visit) which was delicious. We will absolutely be back!

We get Totally Baked Pizza EVERYTIME we stop at Hophouse. Tbh, sometimes I go to hophouse just to get the pizza! Can't recommend the caprese pizza enough. Warning to any spice wimp like myself, the Pepperoni pizza is spicy. I am always impressed that no matter where you are in the bar, they remember what you look like and find you!
