The food and service were excellent. The chicken Parmesan was outstanding, and so were the meatballs for an appetizer. We made reservations at the last minute, but next time will try to make them several days ahead, to get better seating. We were seated outside in the enclosed area in the front of the restaurant. It felt a little like sitting in a fishbowl because the tables ran alongside the front windows of the restaurant. Other than that, it was a great meal and we will be back.

This is our favorite local restaurant. The food is amazing…. It’s always hard to decide what to order because it is all good. The pizza is fantastic, so are the sophisticated versions of parmesans, lasagna, and pastas. There is always a fantastic seafood option. The halibut is a must have. We always eat at the bar to enjoy our favorite bartender, Karen, mixing great cocktails and making wine suggestions. Warm and cozy, even at their busiest, the noise level is never extreme - conducive to an evening of great food and conversation.
Vaccaro's is one of our favorite restaurants! To start dinner, I had a Manhattan — probably one of the best I have ever had! They also have a great selection of house wines, so we got one of their red blends. I had the lobster/seafood pasta and my wife had their world-famous lasagna — wow! The sauce for the lobster/pasta seafood was so rich and tasty - and the noodles were just fantastic. Our server Elise was fantastic and had a bunch of great suggestions. The atmosphere is always wonderful and their cannolis make for a fantastic dessert. Well worth the money — and I think way better than any other restaurant in the area.

I was very upset to be put outside on the patio or whatever it is called . I made a reservation for the inside restaurant for my fiend and I. I enjoy the atmosphere of inside. I feel like you should have a choice or a say when making reservations whether the patio thing is okay, etc. Disappointed. Food and server was good at least.

My friend and I enjoyed a leisurely dinner at the bar. The bartender was knowledgeable and very friendly without being intrusive. We enjoyed a nice Italian meat and cheese plate appetizer and salad. Let me cut to the chase... just order the Mike O'Donnel pizza. It's incredible!

We did not have waitress come to our table for 15 or more minutes. My wife had to go talk to someone before anyone came out to take our drink order. The waitress we got was good. My food was very good, but my wife was not crazy about her meal. They gave a lot of food-I can probably get 3 meals out of the serving. Salad was NOT included in the price and at $10/per, I felt that was overpriced.

Prices are not reasonable for product or service. I ordered a salad (a la carte, 10 bucks for a small), fettuccine Alfredo with fennel sausage (27 bucks). The wine was reasonably priced. The server forgot what I ordered and came back to ask. Then she forgot to bring out the bread she offered. My friend waited a long time to order a glass of wine because the server wasn't stopping by in a timely manner to see if we wanted more. My salad never came out. When I told the server she never brought out the salad, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't on the bill, she offered to pack it to go. Um, no. The fettuccine Alfredo was bland; I had to ask for salt and pepper. The fennel sausage tasted good, but the presentation was hideous: a brown log on a bed of white pasta. I'm willing to pay higher prices, but there needs to be a value for those prices. Maybe I would have enjoyed the pizza better, but not with that service.

We were super excited to try somewhere new and have heard wonderful things about Vaccaro's. Host was amazing. Server lead with “you guys are in luck because you got the new person” , she went over the menu specials and essentially talked us out of them because she said she wasn't a fan of how it was served & presented, she mentioned they weren't what she expected. It was very slow where we were sitting in the bar area and it looked like we were one of 3/4 tables she had. She talked to the table next to us for 10 minutes and forgot about my second drink i ordered, when she finally checked on us she verbalized “ did i not get you that second drink? sorry i was born with the gift of gab” so i assumed she went and got my drink that had been sitting for 10 minutes as it wasn't cold anymore. We do not go out to dinner unless it's special occasions so it is disheartening to have experiences like this, next time we go back we will DEFINITELY sit at the bar as those gals seemed to have it down. Dont get me wrong the server was very nice but if when 2 people fine in their tab comes out to $150 maybe there should be a little more professionalism involved in the service.
