Wish i could give it more stars!! Traveling through the area and figured i would try this place out. Walked up to the door to see that it was closed ! Sign from owner says that she is selling the business , and cant keep staff. I hate how covid has ruined potentially great places !

Worst chicken paprikash I have ever had. An insult to me and my family as Hungarians. Lesson 1 quit using cheap paprika, have it imported. Lesson 2 dumplings do not sit in the paprikash. Leave up to Americans to screw our hungarian food up.

Super sad to see the price of paprikash going up to $11.50 a quart at Meijer!!! I understand having to raise prices due to the unfortunate inflation but from $9 to $11.50. This place has so much potential to be a local Deli selling sliced meats/cheeses/salads and even pre-made sandwiches.

I've never been a fan of chicken salad so I was hesitant to try their chicken salad sandwich. Boy, was I ever surprised. It was served on a warmed croisssant that made the sandwich absolutely delicious!!! Its so sad that they are closing the deli,, I know I would have been back multiple times for another sandwich. Sad too that I hadn't been there sooner,,. If I could I would give that sandwich a rating of 10 !

I love this place! Highly recommend to anyone visiting amherst, this is a must! Best chicken paprikash, delicious salad, homemade potato salad, homemade rolls. Everything here is phenomenal!

The only thing I fon't like is that they arenmt open 24:7. Best paprikash in probably America. Good sandwiches too. The dinner deal is the best to pick up and take home for dinner
