A microbrewery with solid food and good service. They are both family-friendly and business-lunch appropriate during the day. When the evening comes, the bar area is clean, inviting, and lively. The music is rarely too loud or distracting. Nicely done.

Had the meatball sub, meatballs were a wonderful size- there were 3 and filled the whole bun. There was a wonderful covering of cheese and the house potato chips were plentiful and satisfying. The server was prompt, attentive and friendly. The restaurant is in a historic building (formerly a furniture store), the tin ceiling was still in tact and there was exposed brick for additional effect.

The Invincible Hazy IPA aired with the Pastrami sandwich was absolutely delicious. Large open area dining room wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. The high ceilings likely helped. Good service for a busy Friday night. Prices were very reasonable. Street parking was available within a short distance.

Had to run up to Ashland and needed a quick refresher. Found a great craft brewery. Great atmosphere and service. Wide variety of beers which surprised me. I got the 1850 stout and loved it. May need to take a 4 pack home.

Uniontown Brewing is located inside a former furniture store within a strip of quant shops in Ashland. The brewery itself is fairly good-sized. The main area has 2 large rooms. One of which houses the bar. There is another small room to the right of the main entrance that I was told used to be utilized as an event space and is likely transitioning into a second bar area. When I visited there were 18 taps advertised. Unfortunately a third of the taps were down. Thankfully the functioning taps still had some tasty offerings. Our server was very friendly and was happy to bring out samples of the different beers to try. I enjoyed both of the hazy ipas I ended up ordering. For dinner I ordered a seasonal salad of kale and quinoa. I had mixed feelings about the salad. The kale was delicious, but the quinoa was pretty flavorless. I probably wouldn't order it again. I did get to sample a few other dishes my friends were eating and they were all very good. I have never been to the downtown Ashland area before, but I can definitely see returning!

Food and staff were great. HOWEVER, I was extremely disappointed in the dining experience. I had done a call ahead. I had stated multiple times that a toddler would be part of our group. When we arrived they stated we would be at a high top. I said that wasn’t okay as I had a toddler, and I had concerns of him falling. I was told I could wait 25 minutes for a table to open up. I stated this wasn’t okay either as I had done call ahead. This whole situation was very frustrating because at no point during the original call was I asked about a high top. I had stated multiple times a toddler would be a part of the party. At no point was it notated there was going to be a small child with the group, and the thought process given was “a lot of people put their toddlers at the high top”. It was an uncomfortable dining experience.

Updating for 2024. Continue to give location a shot. Food is good but have yet to find anything great. Tried the signature chicken today named after the location. Small, and lacking flavor. Bland hydroponic vegetables on an ordinary bun with a decent small peice of meat with a lightest hint of sauce. Will keep trying to find something great, but my hopes are not up....Original Review: Food was good, but portions incredibly small especially for the price. Basically $10 a plate kids menu
