Wonderful experience here! Cool vibes, awesome drinks and the perfect menu choices to suit our very picky group. Totally worth the drive from Youngstown.

We have been in here multiple times for drinks after dinner and today was our first time getting food. The nighttime atmosphere is very nice with the music and bar area. We booked their brunch special and as you can see from the picture below it was amazing. A great value for all the food you get and this was the second plate! There was also a cold plate served before this. The staff and owner were very nice and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend them for drink and food, especially the brunch!

We scheduled a reservations for six people Saturday, January 27th through the website a couple weeks prior and we received two separate confirmation emails that we were confirmed for our reservation at 7pm. We showed up to the restaurant about 40 minutes early figuring we could get a drink at the bar before dinner and we were told by the staff that we don’t even have a reservation because they didn’t call us back to confirm the appointment. Number one… if you don’t take online reservation through the link on your website then take it off the website… They made the decision to try and accommodate us by setting our group up downstairs however, honestly this was the worst business decision they could have made… it was 2 hours and 15 minutes before getting our dinners. We were told that our dinners were being plated two times and after 40 minutes I finally went up and told them we are done and leaving. While talking to the staff they hurried and brought out one dinner and said the balance of dinners will be out within 5 minutes. They also said based on your experience and the issues we will talk to owner/chef about giving us a discount… well NO discount was given. In addition, the waitress tried to apologize and told us the owner/chef was going to come talk to us… well that didn’t happen either. Honestly, if the owner/chef doesn’t care enough to give us a discount or even come down the stairs and have a discussion, then I will not be returning to his or her restaurant in the future. Terrible customer service has led to a sad day for your restaurant and as a professional who frequently chooses fine dining, I will not be recommending this restaurant to any of my friends, family or colleagues.

I think it was without a doubt, one of the best meals I've had at Ashtabula Harbour. The soft lighting gave a nice warm atmosphere as we walked in from the cold snowy night. We were very warmly greeted, and because it was our first time there our waitress took her time explaining things to us. We were told we could go downstairs to look at the choice of wines but we just chose the Cabernet Sauvignon house wine after we were offered a taste. It was a relaxed evening. We shared two appetisers between the Five of us to help pass the time because meals are prepared from scratch so we had time to sip and chat which seemed very European.Between the Five of us we had a good sampling of the different courses offered. Everyone was very satisfied with their choices. The meal was a bit pricy but not the kind of 'nothing on the plate' pricy because the plates were well stocked with good produce. Even the house salad which came with the meal was very fresh, crisp and delicious. My brother who never eats salad finished every leaf and believe me, that's saying something. I was one of the only ones to finish and not need a box so also the only one to not order dessert. I was regrettably much too full but I of course tasted what each of the others got and all those desserts were amazing.I don't really know how it is we'd never been there but I'm sure we'll be going back.

Fitzgerald's is our favorite on Bridge Street in Ashtabula! We had a fabulous New Year's Eve dinner! Deborah and her staff always do a phenomenal job! Classy, warm, welcoming ambiance. Great meal. Great wine list. Great service. Great dining experience! We've recommended Fitzgerald's to many. All come back to tell us how fantastic their experience was and they'll be returning.

I had the best experience here Christmas shopping and was pleasantly surprised to encounter a tasting bar! The tasting host, Deb, was fun and engaging and recommended a delicious red (Napa Quilt) as I took a load off to break! Upstairs is a fine restaurant! I was tempted to stay and check out a meal- but I already had dinner plans... so I had a Lobster Bisque. Oof. Just perfect! I will write a more involved review after a dinner here, but the enjoyable break I had was so lovely on a bustling Saturday! Recommend!

Fitzgerald's would have been well received had it been in San Francisco or Seattle or a larger city. Ambiance, service and food were all exceptional!

Excellent service. Food and wine was all delicious! Everything is made to order... it takes maybe a bit longer than typical, but so worth it! The menu is reasonably priced for the quality food and beautiful atmosphere- seriously even the beverage coasters were awesome. Will return!

Wow, what an experience! My wife and I drove in from the Cleveland area for a day trip to Ashtabula Harbor and had an early dinner at Fitzgerald's. No disappointments here. We absolutely loved everything. For our entrees I enjoyed the sea bass while my wife had the pistachio crusted the salmon. Both were excellent. We had a nice conversation with the chef / owner DeborahI highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning on our next trip.

I brought my mom and myself to the restaurant and there was only one person working and doing all the cooking and waiting on tables? The menu was ridiculously priced. 60$ for a steak? We ordered drinks, coffee and a bloody Mary and waters. It was over 15 minutes to get water. We ordered shrimp cocktail and caprese. The shrimp was gooey and the caprese lacked fresh tomatoes and cut basil leafs. We left without ordering a dinner because there wasn't anything my Mom could eat. The atmosphere outside was great but to get there, it requires a lot of stairs. The food quality was very sub par for the prices. Service was awful. 5 stars ???

Went on September 15th for lunch. One person working, prices on the high side. Server rattled off the days lunch specials in great detail to the point we could not even remember everything she said ( rather lengthy). There were 4 in our party, two of us ordered the same dish, two others ordered a something else, and server came back to the table and said, there was only enough for one order and they can replace the other order with something else, so, ok? Then came back out and said, sorry, we do not have even one order but we can make you both the replacement dish (which, by the way, was not even on the menu). Atmosphere was uncomfortably quiet as well. At that point we had been there for about 20 minutes and that was as far as we got. So we got up and left and went somewhere else. We later told some friends about our experience at this restaurant and we were told they also left this restaurant. Poor. Will never go back.

We really love this restaurant. Everything was excellent. Food, service, drinks and atmosphere were all top shelf. We were pleased to meet and chat the owner / chef Deborah. She's very down to earth and engaging. Her attention to detail really shows. I can't wait to come back with some other friends of ours. Well done!

If you are looking for an enjoyable evening in the Harbor the atmosphere, food & beverages are fabulous at this small Harbor restaurant. Reservations are strongly recommended as they fill up quickly.
