I called the Bakery here at GIANT EAGLE, needing a beautiful Pink Birthday Cake for my daughter our Sweet Princess.Well I wasn't surprised when they said Yes they could have it ready with only 22 hours notice, being New Year's Eve day I needed it.The Valery employee, was very knowledgeable about what they had to offer, and kind to me. I was in need of this important Cake, and WALMART REFUSED TO TAKE THE ORDER.WALMART EMPLOYEE Informed Me that They NEEDED AT LEAST 48 hours notice.Well I Have To Say that the Cakes from WALMART Are LESS THAN GOOD, Compared to the Cakes at GIANT EAGLE.You may PAY A Few $$ More, BUT DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE.DO Yourself a Favor, Get Your next CA k e at GIANT EAGLE, You'll thank yourself, their Bakery and hopefully ? Me.Have a Wonderful Year.

The store is overpriced except for sales. The worse thing is the retched smell of disgusting butchered meat that hits you when you walk in the store. There are no doors to separate the meat department as you can see in my picture and the smell is nauseating.

I was in yesterday and bought a roast and mashed potatoes w/carrots. Dinner tastes great but the carrots could have been cooked for another 20 minutes. Things are hard as a rock.

I have to say thank you... these guys are awesome.. the bakery is the best! The store as well gave us this cake for a fundraiser for two wonderful people.. One of them didn't survive. The cake was done in his honor... the talent. no one wanted to cut this cake.. So if you ever need a special cake done.. This place is your place to go.. The staff here is the best.. Thank you..

I cannot believe what just transpired in this store! I was treated so rudely by this young kid while checking out. I was not aware that the 20 item or less line was moved nor the people behind me! You can barley see the sign! I usually don't complain about anything. So I called the service desk to talk to the manager and they hung up on me! Absolutely unbelievable!!! I'm in customer service and that is by far the worst I've ever been treated!

I like this store but Saturday we bought crab legs at 30+$'s and was extremely disappointed. Hardly any flavor. My husband was right.... should've just went to Red Lobster.

Bakery leaves a bit to be desired. Lost my order when we called we'll in advance. Day of the party, no cake. The girl was very pleasant and made it right away. Although she did make it right, we shouldn't have someone on the phone telling us “I'm not normally in the bakery call back later†when we call. Close the bakery for taking orders after a certain time or come up with a better process.
