We have been frequent customers but it had been awhile since we visited. We went last evening and we were disappointed. The service was poor and our waiter didn’t ask us for a drink order. I had to grab him and ask to order. The food was pretty mediocre as well. I had the Rennick burger that was extremely dry and the fries were very soggy. My wife had the Ramen and she stated that it was very bland. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and not sure we will make any attempt to go back anytime soon. Unfortunate since our past experiences have been extremely positive. You can do better…..

Oh man where do I begin!? 1st off they have a 6 page whiskey list. AN ACTUAL WHISKEY LIST! This was a pleasant surprise. 2nd, they make almost everything in house. Desserts, pasta, sauces, pierogies, meatballs, etc are all made on premise. The food is as incredible as you could imagine and the service is equally impressive. If you've never been here it's definitely worth the trip. This was our first time, but it won't be our last!

We were in the area for a swim competition and wanted to try a local steakhouse for our carnivorous swimmer. Our daughter had a ramen which she said was delicious. My husband had the smaller filet with a side of wild mushrooms which he said was cooked to perfection. I had the beef stroganoff which was heavenly. The sous vide short rib was like butter and so tender. The homemade pasta, mushrooms and cream sauce were divine. Our T-Rex had the 12oz filet and a double serving of fries. The filet was buttery tender as well, cooked to medium rare perfection and the fries were absolutely delicious! If you around Ashtabula and want the tastiest meal you've had in a long time, visit Rennick Meat Market!

First, the waiter was beyond exceptional tonight! I wish I remembered his name, don't let him go ever lol! Secondly, the food is out of this world. We aren't from this area, but this was by far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The food is beyond top notch. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable!! Thank you soo much!! You place is above and beyond!!

Excellent food. My only complaint is the portion size could be bigger. Well crafted plates but a little larger portions would put it over the top. Bartender is a gentleman and professional. I recommend this place highly.

The steak tartar was absolutely amazing! I preferred it on the bok choy, but my husband preferred it in the crustini. Either way it was amazing, and the hearty portion was served with both. Then came our steak meals with sauce and veggie sides. Both the flat iron and hangar were cooked to perfection and were delicious, but the veggies almost stole the show. Then I splurged and had the Earl Grey Creme Brulee - yum! Just a fantastic meal all around. We were in no hurry, which was good because the service, while good, was not fast. Overall it was a wonderful meal and well worth lingering over and savoring.

Way Overpriced for the amount of food served. Terrible service. Will not be back. Unless you have a ton of time to sit and wait, I'd go elsewhere

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years, and I’m still regularly impressed when I go. It’s obvious that effort goes into choosing high quality ingredients, and everything is prepared with care every time. My number one recommendation would be to try any of the steaks- they’re phenomenal.Service is always good as well. The servers are knowledgeable and appear to like their job.Overall this is likely the best restaurant in the area.

My partner and I will very gladly travel away from Erie to this Gem of a spot in Ashtabula, OH. Talk about the BEST and most respectable bourbons/whiskeys one could find in the are, PLUS at THE absolute best, most reasonable prices around. The best cocktails as well. Coming from an ex-cocktail bartender, I know this place is hands down my favorite to go for drinks, food, and delicious spirits. Very knowledgeable staff as well. Grateful for this place!

I can not say enough about this restaurant. As featured on Food Network and Cle magazines, here you'll find high quality steaks basted to perfection. Authentic Polish dishes are sprinkled through the menu an occasionally on special. Top off the experience with a signature cocktail muddled with fresh and unique ingredients.

We were given a recommendation about their steaks & Rennick’s did not let us down. It’s a quaint, historical century building with character. Our waitress Sara was pleasant and helpful. The steaks were phenomenal. My husband got the 14 oz Ribeye and I got the 8 oz Center Cut Filet. We’ve visited other steakhouses and Rennick’s is top notch. Don’t forget to check out the desserts and fantastic coffee from the coffeehouse down the street.Rennick’s is a must visit when you’re in the area and looking for a great cut of meat!
