What an adorable place. Great price, good food, and pies that are out of this world. Service was amazing. There were 13 of us waitress was right on top of it. The owner even came over and thanked us fie coming in. That doesn't happen very often anymore. Will be back

We went for breakfast at around 9:15 on a Sunday. There were 3 of us and we were seated right away. By about 10:00 there was a short wait. From the minute we walked in we knew it was going to be amazing. The staff knew many of the patrons and were very personable. The corned beef hash is out of this world. The bacon is so crispy and flavorful. The home fries and red potatoes (add onions and peppers!) we're both really good. Delicious sausage gravy. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but everything was made fresh, to-order.We ordered 5 slices of pie to go which we haven't eaten yet.Very satisfactory experience.

This restaurant was very family friendly. The owner was there eating breakfast with his friends and speaking with the patrons. The atmosphere was of a small town diner where everyone knew each other. The food portions were nice sized. I gave it 3 stars for food and atmosphere because the food was good but nothing really special. The chili was very bland. The mushroom Swiss burger was juicy but bland also. My husband really liked the biscuits and gravy, though. They're known for having good pies. Of which we didn't order. So maybe the rating will be higher once we do. Lastly, the menus are old pieces of paper covered in spilled food. That was the only real complaint.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families were there.
