My dinner of country fried steak was served HOT and the mashed potatoes were HOT and the green beans were HOT. I was surprised to receive a dinner that was not lukewarm as in most restaurants. And everything was delicious and the right textures. My husband was happy with his omelette but it was not quite what he expected. The waiter was attentive and always smiling. I even had leftovers to take home, as the portions were generous. Also calories were listed on the menu. Thank you Bob!

Update 4.14.24: After years of staying away, I decided to give them another go ...nothing has changed. Showed up, had to wait to get seated even though it was only 7:30 on a Sunday morning. Then was told someone would be with me. This time I only waited about 15 minutes before giving up and leaving. I just knew I would be wasting all morning here. It's a bad sign when you have to wait that long for even just a glass of water when only 2-3 other tables in the entire restaurant are occupied. Go to any other Bob Evans but this one.Original: I've had so many bad experiences at this Bob Evans, and it's the only one I've ever had a bad experience at. The service is the problem. Once I was seated early in the morning with hardly any other customers there and I was completely forgotten about. I left after at least 1/2 an hour without anyone noticing.

Had the best service that I’ve had in a long, long time from any restaurant… Jonathan K upfront, and Anthony the server were amazing, polite, and very professional !!! We were there for Moms Weekend at OU and knew we would have to be patient but they were efficient and apologetic for the wait times….. ( totally expected with all the moms in town !!! ) amazing customer service Johnathan and Anthony!!!

When all else fails, there's usually a Bob Evans somewhere nearby. Reliable? Yes. Consistent? Yes. Do they serve high quality food? Or interesting food? No. Breakfast menu is best and a staple, so I would hang out in that neighborhood. But, otherwise, the overall experience is really just unremarkable and unmemorable.
We decided to stop because they didn't look busy yet. Around 2-3pm. They weren't busy. I believe it was the manager that seated us. Dark hair? He brought us drinks, then told us our server would be with us as soon as possible. She had a table of 9! she was taking care of! We waited, patiently 10-15 minutes. While we waited, the same man seated a couple in the booth behind us. Their server was there immediately, as they were being seated. I asked the manager (?) why they were already putting in their orders while we were still waiting. He said the new server had just started, but our server would be with us as soon as she finished the 9!! He smiled and rushed away before I could respond. The final straw was the manager seated 2 more couples. The server was taking the 1st of the 2 order.This meant our food would be behind the 3 couples, at least. No idea about the 9.Unbelievable!! We walked out!Felt completely disrespected. As if our business wasn't needed, appreciated or important.Horrible customer service.

I just received my DoorDash order with a note telling me that Matti was the person who packed it. Matti, you did such a good job- it’s so organized and I think they should crown you Monarch of Bob Evan’s Athens. Food was great too :)

Place dirty. Food and debris around tables. Had to ask server to get someone to clean area around table on floor. Felt like we were eating in garbage. Customers should not have to sit around debris around or under tables. Winder what kitchen area is like. It was cleaned after we requested it to be done.

Initially told the order was ready but waiting for steamed broccoli, just broccoli. Five minutes later was asked to contact my customer because they were out of the chosen soup and could replace it with another. Fifteen minutes later I'm still waiting for the steamed broccoli. Twenty five minutes later after my partner complained the steamed broccoli appeared. For some reason this isn't an uncommon occurrence here.
