I loved bartending here, I loved this bar and everyone in it! It's a great atmosphere. It was definitely my favorite job I've ever had.I brought in a great attitude, amazing work ethic, i was fast on my feet, fun to be around, easy to talk to, i caught on extremely quick and i brought in games like: uno, jenga, connect 4 and a Frisbe too!I got wrongly fired out of nowhere (we didnt even talk about it first or anything, not even in person, no warning. Nothing.) because I used to do adult things online almost a year ago. I never promoted it in the bar either since my safety would be a concern and i no longer do it so idk how anyone found out.This was one of the best and most fun jobs I've ever had and I was so excited for summer volleyball.I'll miss everyone of my customers and co-workers.I have no hard feelings I'm just extremely heartbroken because I put my heart and soul into this lovely bar.Have a great summer everyone, I'll miss you all and I've got nothing but love to give.Don't let my review keep you from going out there though. Anything I ever did on social media was talk about how much I loved my job and tried to make it look fun to get some business out there!And I recently found out they're not LGBTQ+ friendly at all whatsoever. I really feel so sad because I had no clue they were this closed minded.

Doorman or whatever you call him. Needs to work somewhere else. Denied entry because he couldn't communicate that he needed to see our IDs. Saw him drinking Budweisers ON THE CLOCK yet you're going to give me attitude?? Drink less, maybe then you could explain things to people. Terrible service

I've been coming here ever since I moved to the area in '08. I love this place. It's a dive bar, but a great dive bar. With ping pong, pool, darts, and shuffle board there are games for everyone. Lots of TVs for sports events, and the place gets packed Thursday-Saturday. If you haven't been here you're missing out.

I really cannot say enough good things about this place and it's bartenders. I go there very routinely and shoot pool along with some drinks and good conversation. On the weekends it does get a little bit too busy for me but that's just because I'm older. The bartenders Mary and Maria are very attentive and friendly and I just love them. The crowds get a little bit young at times but that's expected, the place is always clean, and I always walk out of there with a smile on my face.

You know what hill top is like? It's like that corner bar that invites you in, gives you a plate for the food your brought in from origami or one speed, pours you an ice cold beer. Darts, pool and shuffle board never turn testy bc everyone is having a great time.

Great little county bar!! Just outside of Athens, OH. A really good weekend bar!
Say you and a couple of friends wanna hang out but are not really feeling the pretentious crowd or the expensive cocktails and beers of lowbrau, mangos, and other downtown establishments. Hilltop is a handful of places to go. There is plenty of entertainment from pool tables, shuffleboard, and darts. The drinks are cheap. There are plenty of TVs to watch sports and the crowd is lowkey so you and your friends can hang without all the unnecessary drama that downtown attracts.

Came here to meet some friends on a Friday night and had a really good time. Bartenders were both attentive and friendly. They managed a packed bar with just the two of them and never made me or my friends feel ignored. There's shuffle board, darts, pool and ping pong available to play. Drink prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere was definitely up my alley as a 30 year old who doesn't like it too loud or rowdy. It's located only a few minutes from my house so easy to Uber there and back. I'm sure I'll make another trip in here.

The location is alright. It's in East Sac and is near many small shops. There is no light rail service close enough to use and the bus stop is quite a walk away. Luckily, there is street parking available. There are some scooters and bikes available to rent. It's near a shopping center that has a Trader Joe's. The prices are great! I'd say the pour is pretty heavy and the prices are less than you'd expect. My go to here is always the cider here because it has a decent percentage. You can most likely walk out of here under $15 with a nice buzz or more. The service is good. The bartenders seem to always have their hands full yet are still able to assist you. They are friendly and fast. The side room has billiards, darts, and a ping pong table. There are a couple of other games there too. They have one of those modern touch screen jukeboxes to select music. The people that come here are super chill and you can make a new friend here easily. Bottom Line/TLDR: a fun and affordable bar
