It's a nice tap room and if you love Bourbon barrel aged beers they've got your fill. My only complaint was the parking lot. It's kind of hard to find.

Jackie O’s taproom is one of my favorite stops for a low key drink in Athens, OH. It’s located off the main streets for a more hometown feel. They serve tons of local brews as well as wines and lower proof drinks for patrons looking for anything other than beer. I’d highly recommend the location. They have plenty of off street parking as well as super clean restrooms. The staff is always friendly and attentive to your needs. They have tasty cakes, cookie treats and cold sandwiches for a quick bite also. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as they are dog friendly.

Update: As usual, the taproom is a great place to sit and beer. Food, at least on a Sunday, not so much. Got a choice between two pre-made sandwiches and went with the ham and swiss ...the sandwich was very compact, about fist-sized, and way more bread than filling. Very disappointing for $9; basic, like something you could pick up at a Speedway for half the cost. I wish the condiments on the side were labeled, because what looked like just grainy mustard contained a ton of horseradish. Made it very hard to finish the sandwich.

A fantastic Brewery in Southern Ohio.We had a beer tasting from them while staying at Ravenwood and the next day swung by their taproom .They have a large variety of different beers, which is great, there is definitely something for everyone.Their sours and lighter beers are all wonderful. We found their barrel aged beers to be too sweet and syrupy for our liking, but there were still complex and interesting.They had nice treats and the spicy cashews that came with our flights were awesome.They have a little shop with shirts and hats as well as many beers to go in cans or bombers. They also sell growlers.Recommended.
