I tried to order here off the website. I traveled to the posted address and could not find it. I then asked a local about it and he told me it had closed. The website orders to a restaurant in Williamsburg. Just posting this in hopes it will keep someone from having the same confusing experience I had.

Cheap & Cheerful chinese take-out food in the $5-6 region with a nice size portion for the price. You get a choice of rice or Lo Mein, and then the ability to pick up to 3 different food items with the option of extras. Also offering various combo discounts depending on what you are buying.

Love the food here, but they are always closed. Very annoying.

Food was okay, usually better then it was today, price went up and quantity and quality went down

I love the food here, let me just start by saying that. But they frequently close and put all of their food away before they close, and it gets really frustrating. I often try to come here before 9:30 after I'm done studying, and the amount of times that everything has been put away by 9:15 is kind of ridiculous.

This location is really your average buffet style Chinese. Nothing majorly impressive but nothing bad either. The food was not fresh when we were there due to the fact that we walked in at close. So that's not unexpected. What was unexpected was their phenomenal customer service. Since the food was not fresh, and we wanted Lo mein, the cook made some fresh just for us. Also since there was only 2 rangoon, I was given those without charge and the option of another side. They gave my husband all of the sesame chicken since they were closing and it would be wasted any way. They also made my son sesame tofu fresh since they didn't have anything for vegetarians on the buffet. My biggest suggestion is this... Water packed tofu is better than silken tofu for entrees such as stirfries. Also soaking as much of the water as possible out of the tofu, then frying or baking it until golden brown, then adding it to the stir fry gives it a much better texture and flavor. Overall not bad and i would return. Understand it is also under new ownership within the last 6 months. So go ahead and give them another try.

As a Chinese and somebody who have lived in North America, I can say that the quality of the food in this restaurant is good for both Chinese and non-Chinese customers. Among the Chinese restaurants in Athens, its food is perhaps the most authentic one. At the same time, the taste bodes well for American tongues as well. The price is also affordable and you also receive a lot of food for that. Highly recommend it!!

I really enjoy the food and it's not pricey at all. They have a big range of bubble tea which is very rare in Athens. Also, people working there are genuinely friendly.

At first, I went there with one of my friends. To be honest, this place doesn't look fashion, doesn't look great, however, after I tasted the food, I felt amazing. And the service is awesome. My friend ordered something on a special menu, it was really great. Then I went back to there again, and chose the "house special beef noodle soup", I could not forget the taste there. if you really a fun for Chinese traditional food, they can provide. I can even see the kitchen and how the chef cook in the kitchen. It's open to customers. I saw they always change the clean plates on the buffet bar as well. I will definitely come back often.

I absolutely love this for Chinese food and so does everyone I know. For $4.99 you choose white or fried rice and three things from the hot bar. $0.50 extra if you want lo mein noodles. I typically get fried rice and three different kinds of chicken and they know how to fill that styrofoam box. You could totally split it into two or more meals. Worth every bit of money and more. Every time my brother comes up to visit me, we will eat there everyday for the whole week - literally. He is always begging me to go. Such a delicious meal (or two). A must to go. See you tonight Peking! :)

I think Peking Express is the only chinese fast food have steam table in town, I'm not sure thou because I'm from las vegas. I got there arround noon, all the food looks fresh. This place located at Downtown Athens Ohio, next to people's bank, inside a building. The place have tables & chairs so you can eat there if you want to or take it to go. I order 3 item combo.. chow mien, spicy chicken, bourbon chicken, general t'so chicken with 1 pork egg roll & 2 crab rangoon on the side. All of those $8.45. I took it to go & share with my husband at home also still have a little bit left over. We both love the chow mien & spicy chicken but not so much for bourbon chicken ( the chicken a little dry) & for general t'so chicken (breaded chicken cover with sweet spicy sauce) there were some pieces dry but some were not, the one were not dry actually had a good flavor. The pork egg rolls & crab rangoon were good too but I think it would be had a better taste if the server gave me a sweet & sour sauce to go with that. I didn't get the sweet & sour sauce, I don't know that he forgot to give it to me or I had to ask for it ( I used to work like that type of place in California & we always give the sauce to go with it). Well anyway the server was a nice guy. I will come back to get my chow mien, spicy chicken, egg rolls & maybe try other dishes 7/27/2017 thursday
