The flavor of the food was quite good, though the coconut chicken curry was a bit soupy and light on the chicken. For $24, the quantity of the food should have included more food. Thankfully there was warm bread and dipping sauce served before and during the meal to help fill us up.

Highly recommend. My wife and I took a friend out for her birthday. We ordered the Meze platter, Shawarma, the soup and salad, and a chicken plate, PLUS dessert and everything was absolutely delicious.
I've only been here a handful of times on my trips to and through Athens, but I definitely don't come here enough! The chicken and lamb are fantastic, but this time they had a special spaghetti bolognese which is probably top five all time for me. The homemade bread was equally fantastic, and we were served with an incredible amount of kindness and speed. Can't ask for more than that.

Suggested by an old friend, Salaam did not disappoint. The star of the dinner was the lentil-tomato soup. Spiced just right it was delicious. The lamb and rice were excellent, too. Only change is make is to cook the Brussels sprouts a little more as they were really crunchy. Service in the beautiful restaurant was also excellent.I will be back.

This is, and has been, one of the best restaurants in Athens. The food is always incredible. The servers are always super warm and welcoming. The interior to the place is beautiful, and you will not find many places like it. I highly suggest getting one of their salads with grilled chicken, the hummus, and some moroccan mint tea.
